The best thing about this game is how the triple double was almost incidental to the Fever. The team is playing TOGETHER so much better and in particular Clark, Boston and Mitchell. Their combined stats show why they won and hopefully will continue to move up the rankings. Forget all the hype about who hates who and get on with the basketball.
Angel Reese’s rebound numbers hide a problem - she’s averaging nearly five offensive rebounds per game. And they are NOT her teammates misses. While I’m really happy she is a fighter and goes after that ball when it misses the net, I sure would prefer she made the basket to begin with. Sometimes she picks up multiple rebounds on the same basket attempts. In football terms, she’s got great fumble recovery stats, but they are her own fumbles. Other, more experience players with more points don’t get THAT type of double double because they don’t miss the first time.
Sabrina has never said anything bad adout Caitli! She suported her through college. She might have said something salty after the last loss, but Sabrina and Catlin are competitive don't rip on them. Let them play
Reese hasn’t helped anything, Caitlin Clark has done everything for the WNBA: Of course Caitlin Clark wins the rookie of the year award. She will win it clearly by 10points or more from the next player.

Sky is a playoff team. Fever has been the worst team in the league. Clark joins, leads the offense, and now the Fever are playoff contenders. She has more blocks, more steals, more points, better eFG shooting percentage, and assists. Clark is already breaking both scoring and assist records. There are over 150 double doubles with Points/Rebounds. But only 19 double doubles with Points/Assists. And Clark has the triple double vs the top team in the league. This isn't even close, sorry. There's a reason why Vegas has Clark at -600 to win ROTY. Nobody is going to games to watch rebounds and a 40% inside shooter. The numbers don't lie, and a massive majority of those numbers, heavily favor Caitlin Clark. Edit- And now FINALLY Rachel Nichols says the obvious out loud, and goes against the ESPN script, and calls Clark the leading contender for ROTY, as it clearly is as of now.
