A'jay is not the best player. CC has way more wnba records & better all-around stats than wilson.

I think Clark is a great player, but she’s definitely not MVP caliber yet. As for turnovers, many came from her passing, but her and her teammates are gelling together now and TOs have dropped. This is only one stat, but CC’s 19 assists in a game is far more valuable and impressive than AR’s 19 rebounds. It’s been noted that Reese’s shooting percentage is abysmal, and it is, especially for someone who shoots in and around the paint a lot. A’ja Wilson is the MVP this season. Hopefully, Clark will only get better. If I were her, and I’m being serious, after the season, I’d call Taurasi, Moore, or Sue Bird, or another veteran, hell maybe Curry or Lebron, and ask them to shoot around and train with her. If they can lend their expertise and experience, even if only an hour or two a week, it would go a long way in improving her game. It’s already incredible how quickly she adapted to pro ball, despite not having more experienced teammates take her under their wing when she first arrived. All Rookies, including Reese, can learn so much from experienced teammates. Aside from all that noise, I’ve noticed a striking difference between the men and women from a defensive standpoint. In the WNBA, shooters seem to have far more time to shoot it from deep or from behind the line; the main reason is that the women play more zone defense. The only defensive pressure on the shooter comes in the form of a player lunging with one hand out, but she’s too far away to block the shot. I must say, I’m digging the ladies game more than ever.

I'm going to have to disagree that CC is not MVP caliber yet. Caitlin Clark's current stats are better than Sheryl Swoops 2002 MVP stats. Clark has brought her team to a winning record and the first playoffs berth since 2016. Her impact to the Fever is so much more to her team and the league than A'ja Wilson. The one part of her game that needs work is her defense I will say that.
