You have it completely backwards. Caitlin Clark hasn’t had a meteoric rise in the WNBA. Caitlin Clark isn’t in the WNBA. Caitlin Clark is much better known than she would be in the WNBA. Her performance in the 2023 NCAA tournament drew a bigger viewing audience than any NBA game that season. At least 99% of the US population can’t name a WNBA player. The WNBA desperately hopes Clark can bring them the attention she has brought NCAA women’s basketball.
Caitlin’s attraction is her down to earth country style attitude and values. Her basketball skills merely say look at me. When people stop to see what all the noise about, they find a stable young girl who is extremely athletic with an advanced basketball skill.
She only went to Iowa. She’s still in college. She never had a triple figure scoring game. So many mistakes that wouldn’t be a big deal if you didn’t have the internet at your finger tips.
while we are piling on the lies about her lets add the lies told by Swoops: CC#22 is 25 years old she has played for 5 years and takes 40 shots per game. Now for the truth: CC#22 is 22 years old has played 4 seasons and only averages 20 shots per game and outscored pistol pete while taking FEWER shots
Well, I hada never paid attention to girls Basketball 🏀 only as a boy. but when I saw her on Good morning I started to get to know her and I liked her for the future of the girls, who are described as women ❤
If Pistol Pete played against girls he would have scored a lot more points because they wouldn’t have been able to guard him. If CC played against men she would have scored a lot less points because they would have guarded her better and blocked a lot of her shots. To make things simple we all need to remember that Pistol Pete played against men and was the top scoring man while playing for only three years and no 3 point line. CcC played against women for 4 years and made a lot of 3 pointers. It isn’t a fair comparison because Pistol Pete would have destroyed CC if they played against each other. She is a great player for the women though.
Interesting to see all the brands that have partnered with Caitlin. I hope the Indiana WNBA team coaches and players are as encouraging as Iowa has been. There are a great many factual errors in the script of this video.
