The range and ability to create a shot brings people to the screen, but you have to recognize it's her court vision and passing skills that make her a franchise player and not just a scorer. Thank you coach Bluder for molding the team around this generational player (and coach on the floor). Her assist records are because the team has learned how to get edges and cuts without the ball specifically because CC is looking for them. If they don't, they are going to get hit in the head with the ball!
That's not what he was saying. Haven't you ever heard the expression "like a man among boys"? I've said this about Caitlin many times. Like in the Minnesota game where she just came out and destroyed in the first quarter and immediately showed that she was the best player on the court. And I'm sitting there saying out loud, " now that's a grown woman playing little girls".
