I know there is supposed to be a committee that is unbiased and has nothing to do with the players...... I do believe firmly that neither of them deserves to be on the team. I don't want to always hear "leadership" and "experience" because if you have a "young" team that should come from your coaching staff. I have no problem if the same players make team UF THEY DESERVE IT. This time around I don't believe Britney or Diana "deserved" it. Just my opinion. I don't think Caitlin "deserved" it either. Aaliyah Boston had just as good a collegiate run as Caitlin AND won WNBA Rookie of the Year (and STARTED in WNBA all star game). Aaliyah didn't make Olympic team either. It's a patience process. I thought I heard that. If that's a fact then it's borderline criminal to take a player that hasn't shown up for her employer and reward her with an Olympic spot. It's NOTHING personal. It's just there are only 12 spots. Take the 12 best and move forward. Don't take favorites. I have followed Aaliyah since her freshman year at S Carolina. The only reason she's looking uncomfortable is because she is. She's being asked to be a player she's never been. She wasn't the #1 draft pick because she ran the floor. She's a dominant INSIDE presence who's being asked to hang out around the perimeter. Let's she's never played w a player like Caitlin BUT Caitlin has never played with a player like her. Have you noticed how uncomfortable Caitlin looks when they take the ball out of her hands? She's a fish out of water. They both need to adjust but it should easier for Caitlin to adjust than a dominant big. If Caitlin throws ball inside she'll get it back when they collapse and still have a better look at the 3. If Aaliyah adjust then she's 20 feet from the basket and unable to play her style. Griner ,that makes sense

Griner hasn't had a complete season in 3 years. She clearly was placed on team due to her past. She's 6'9" so she may still dominate but she didn't earn it from her recent play. Diana is 41 and is not playing better than others that could have made ot. She's been 5 times already. I feel someone else deserving could get career ending injury before the next Olympics and never have that experience. Something like that can be ONCE IN A LIFETIME. I respect your comment. I'm simply saying it's a coaches job to get the best out of a roster. Now if a player is strictly a ball hog and refuses to move the ball then I can see how they'd be left off. The men's team even got the best out of ball dominant players like Carmelo Anthony and James Harden. If a player can't be a TEAM player then you should notice that in tryouts/training camp. Then leaving them off is understood. I'm lost on your Griner comment.... I think Candace is a great player. Unfortunately when you're trying to squeeze hundreds of players down to 12 surely someone deserving is going to be left off. I don't mind a great player being left off. Yes. She's increasing interest in WNBA. Are you asking if her being on Indiana or playing in Olympics? It seems most of your comments are in reference to WNBA. My video was more abt Olympics so I want to be clear before I respond. I don't believe race has ANYTHING to do w Caitlin's fans being called out. Her fans attack all players on Indiana not named Caitlin Clark, want the Coach fired, and are saying Caitlin should be an Olympian at the highest level w/o even competing on Olympic qualifying team. Griner and Taurasi (or ANYONE else) don't have such outspoken fans. I did a video prior saying I felt sorry for Caitlin cause I've never seen her personally say she's the best. She may feel it but she's never said it. Her fans put the weight of the world in her (cause deep inside you KNOW she wants to please them). Now I TOTALLY agree that it appears that those in charge of the WNBA run it horribly. There are several marketable players and yet very few commercials (prior to this year). Griner played one game she is not qualified due to injury status alone. Two, I do apologize I can’t say you have said anything specifically racial so I will move on from that as you are right. Alas Lebron is an NBA champion, four time MVP, Olympic gold medalist he is qualified to give opinions on basketball. So Lebron thinks Caitlin should be on the team and also a lot of rookies or college players played on the Olympics men’s team. I think my point about Brittney was her fans were so toxic compared to Caitlin’s fans who increased viewership by thirty three percent that’s called putting your money where your mouth is. I’m old school as well not a fan of Lebron getting his coaches fired let alone the trend of firing coaches two years in. Definitely give the coach a chance. Although recent success is due to having a rookie of the year on your team. Last game the team was looking good I was impressed they held firm.

Also I would like to point out being very opinionated or abnoxious fans is not that bad compared to the fans that don’t support and create such a negative uproar to break a player out a 9 year prison sentence while men sit in jail for life over one joint of weed. Honestly I don't think Caitlin is going anywhere. It's still an honor to play in this league or women wouldn't have done it for 28 yrs (just like being paid ZERO to perform at a Super Bowl). Sometimes the prestige outweighs the dollar sign. Now don't get me wrong clearly you want BOTH but there has ALWAYS been the overseas option and not all players take it. Those who value family and time spent in America don't think there's enough money to be pulled elsewhere to play. Now you won't get any arguments from me abt the fact I feel the league has been mismanaged for decades. There should be more money involved professionally then there is collegiately. As far as lol sing $50 million this year.... This is the 1st step towards MAJOR success! Why do I say that? They're finally FULLY invested and they will reap the rewards. There is rumored to be a 7 BILLION dollar deal on the table for television rights. Those with the real money will only invest once they see the WNBA is willing. Chartered flights was a minimum requirement to show you take you sport and athletes seriously.
