She is the all time leading scorer ever and has many other records including tournament record for points and assists all time. It would have been a good idea to switch it up but let's not act like she was going to have 25 or even 30. She accounted for 67 of the 94 points. It's a lot more than just scoring.

The issue with Angel Reese is that she's not really a true star. If you followed college basketball especially her tenure at Maryland you would know she's really ain't a championship leader. She's underdeveloped as a post player and a midrange jump shot doesn't exist. Fla'Jae is the true star on this team and has handled her behavior the best with maturity. Angel should been positioned to do so not be the star of the team. Caitlin is simply better at this moment.

Real. A big part of LSU's involution this year has been giving Reese too many offensive responsibilities without having the technical skills to support them. The result? Fla'Jae relegated to a corner and Van Lilith to play a Pat Beverly role. A team of that level and with those players cannot limit themselves to playing in such an anonymous way, with the ball inside and we hope to get the offensive rebound. LSU was clearly superior in terms of personnel, but preferred to play star against star and came away with broken bones.

The online hate Angel receives is mind blowing 🤯 shorty is from Baltimore and is a product of her environment so what she's brass and cocky. The sport is better for it and both ladies seem not to have a problem with it but it's just everybody else who's NOT competing that has something to say. Caitlin is a once is generation talent and it took 40 to beat LSU with Angel on a bad ankle for most of the game. She was never the same after and she didn't make excuses.

To be fair to Syd Affolter, she wasn’t starting until the Big 10 tournament after Molly Davis’ injury. She was on the Big 10 all tournament team. The 4 point a game against top 25 teams was a misleading statistic given the context.

One year you’re taunting and pointing at your ring finger rubbing 🧂 into the wound of a meaningful game already out of hand…the next year you’re crying at the podium. Hopefully this humbles her and she elevates into an even better player at the next lvl. It’s good to learn these lessons while in college and not the pros. But don’t play the *VICTIM* card now. Clark not just outplayed Angel Reese in BOTH games. She made her irrelevant. Angel Reese was talking trash last year when HER TEAM was the one that carried her with her measly 10 points. Caitlin outscored & out played her last year & completely outclassed her this game. But Angel Reese made it sound like she whooped Caitlin, lol. No she didn't. She wasn't even worthy of carrying Caitlin's jockstraps in either game...well, if women wore jockstraps, lol.

As a Hawkeyes fan, yikes man. I don’t know LS’s reason for leaving during the national anthem, but if it was a sign of protest for the way that Black people are treated in America, there’s nothing wrong with that. You can fight for a country to be better and still love that country. Ignoring the fact that the US has issues is a bigger threat, honestly.

As soon as Reese jad an opponent her size in O'Grady, she was completely lost out there. No range, not the softest hands, basically just rebounding against smaller players and putting it up again from 0.5 feet out.

O'Grady was a difference maker. 6'3" like Reese and strong, so Angel couldn't just bully her. She could barely move her and O'Grady played smart D, playing straight up without fouling, as Reese started missing a lot of shots underneath.
