I thank you for being such and inspiration to me, I’m 23 and I’m a virgin. And lately it’s been getting hard for me but I understand that my strength comes from God. GIRL!!! People hike up the prices when they hear “wedding.” Trust me! When my mom got married someone advised her to say “event” and we were astonished at how much the prices fell! It works, chile! Just say “I’d like this for my event” and the prices will but up to 30-40% less than if you used the word “wedding.” Even in event books prices are different!

Now this is the result of waiting on God for your future spouse. I know this is a cake tasting video but I just couldn’t get this off my mind and heart. They way Mary and Jerard love each other is real (even though I don’t know them personally there love shines even through my cellphone screen) and God centered. I’m soooo here for it, this is why I still choose still to this day to wait on God’s best for me! Can’t wait for the big day🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 #imgonnabeattheweddinginspirit 😂

You can tell the calibre of a man by the way he stops eating cake to help his beloved take off her coat a lay it over the back of the chair. And then feed her cake. That man is a provider and a catch! As as we say it in New Zealand.... he's a mighty fine man!

Here’s an option you could also ask the bakery to do each layer a different flavor you could have one red velvet one vanilla one some other flavor

Small or home businesses can’t buy at the volume to get the discounts like a larger business. Therefore their prices may be higher because they need to cover their cost plus profit. She also may not be buying wholesale but may be paying full price for her ingredients.

The comment about saying there is an "event' instead of wedding is facts. A DJ once told me for a couple of hours it would be $300 but for a wedding it was more than double! That's the shocker with how much more they want to charge a person just because it is a wedding. I appreciate you guys sharing your journey with us. It's so cute to see your love story, and how God makes NO mistakes when He is in the center of it all.

True I agree about the pricing of her wedding cakes. if her cake Business is ran out of her home then her prices should be reasonable. You don’t pay full price for services out of Someone’s home. Whether it’s set up to be a business or not. It should be a public facility regulated by the state. There’s other factors to be considered such as sanitation guidelines and a number of other things. Although technically you can have a license business ran out of your home as long as you’re not sleeping in that same space.

Cake tasting was hilarious! Eventhough they were cupcakes, they were miniature cakes to be cut and eaten with a fork. This was the proper way to share the tasting...

I'm a baker from home and one thing I can say is that the production of a cake in a home vs a bakery is completely different. For one, a baker from home is doing all the work while in a bakery, the work is split between different people. Plus the most popular method used is freezing cakes which are just pulled out the fridge which isn't bad but since it's a bakery, the space they have allows them to do this and make cakes on the spot. A home baker has to schedule the whole cake process and clear much of their schedule aside to having their main job or home lifestyle.

Before I get to the cake tasting, let me just say I lovvee Granny Jean😊She is too cute and hilarious!!!! The price for wedding cakes are too high and honestly in my opinion they don't really taste that great especially with the thick frosting.... I know this may sound crazy, but have y'all considered renting a cake that are really cheap, check out funcakerental.com and buy a delicious sheet cake for the guest who will never know the difference....This is a great way to still have a delicious cake that y'all really like, a beautiful cake for pics and at the same time you will be saving the coins for something else, just a thought!!! Fyi they even have a part of the fake cake that you can place a piece of the real cake, for the cake cutting, how genius is that😊

He was right Mary....for cake tasting you don’t normally take the whole cupcake and gulp it down initially like you did. You cut it up and ‘taste’ the cake flavors. Maybe after you taste you go back and eat the rest....just saying. Also you can get different flavors for different layers.

Home will be cheaper than a business is very wrong assumption,, because at home the work Is done by one person (herself) and she most like do 2 cakes per day, business they do at least 5-7 wedding cakes per day because they have the help, they will charge you less because the high volume order they have,,

RSueMarNi89 Hi!! ☺️Giving to charity is awesome! We are all about it! No one is obligated to give us anything. Neither is that our expectation. However, if individuals feel compelled to give to our registry, which is very common when couples are getting married, we felt that it was better to provide a monetary option rather than tangible items, as we are currently trying to condense our belongings and do not need more things at the current time. If individuals decided they wanted to give something tangible, money would be used either way. I don’t believe that our registry is uncommon at all. We feel so blessed by all those who have decided to give, and do not take any gift for granted. But, thanks for asking to receive insight, and for stopping by my channel ❤️

(StyleME) StyleBitsnBobs 😮 I wouldn’t pay that either! There are some people who have paid that and more though. Mary the woman that did my cake ran her business out of her house and everything turned out great. The cake was delicious, beautiful, and affordable.

MARY!!!!...why are you being so difficult at the cake tasting?...he is right, you're supposed to use the fork and knife....it's just etiquette....you needed to CHILL and LET THE MAN LEAD....♡

Are you saying that out of concern for her? I see a little of control, but name a person who doesn't carry that trait. We see a glimpse of they're life but they love each other. N I wish them the best
