Cal and Merrin's son or daughter (or maybe even both): Mom, how did you and dad met? Merrin: Well, when I first met him, I tried to kill him with Nightbrothers, Sweety. Cal: It was love at first sight)
11:09 huh… foreshadowing 😂😂😂😂 36:36 2 things I noticed: bode stole Dagan’s saber while cal was distracted and if cal didn’t break bode’s blaster when he used the dark side, it woulda been game over
Hopefully writers will give them multiple kids, with combination of Jedi and Nightsister abilities. Or even female Jedi daughter who takes more on Cal in terms of powers and personality and male witch son who takes after Merrin. Would be interesting family dynamic. It would also break both of their Order's traditions (Jedi were not supposed to have families, Nightsisters were not supposed to teach magicks to "inferior" men/boys).
A child with a Force-sensitive father and mother could grow up to be a powerful Force user, like Starkiller was in Legends. Now imagine a Jedi/Sith like him with Merrin's abilities, he would surely be an extremely strong opponent.
Although Disney era of star wars has been dreadful there's been a few sprinkled good ideas. respawn's Jedi games are very reminiscing of force unleashed
We all saw this comming since they had that heart to heart in fallen order they are two kindred spirits with a shared history and pain. Though its because of her that cal doesnt turn completely dark at moments so sometimes attachments can be good for a jedi
Not try to show off, but when I played Fallen Order, the second Merrin showed up, I knew they'd be lovers Edit: Okay, perhaps not at the very first second she showed up, at the time I only guessed she would be at least an ally.... It's when the first time she removed her witch hoodie, then I said they were definitely gonna be lovers
I am very concerned that the next game might be about cal being put in a situation that anakin was and he’s tested with his love for Merrin vs his duty. I don’t know exactly when the second game takes place but the empire is still going strong so safe to say it won’t be smooth sailing but I can see the empire potentially looking into trying to get to tanalor or something like that and cal will find himself stuck in does he protect merrin and his friends or does he save more people. Something along those lines where he is forced to choose between his own happiness and helping people. Or I could be wrong and it will go another way but since the end of this game they clearly have become an item so what will that do to the story?
I think they’re might be something like that like cal has to make the choice or she does. Either way cal is angry and starts thrashing killing whatever, maybe even pushing Vader to the limit. As just as cal is about to finish him, he does the one thing that Vader couldn’t….he lets go, he holds on to her ideals and memories but he lets go of the fury he feels.
Nothing ruins a franchise as much as the idea of a trilogy. When you haven't begun, having three stories instead of one sounds promising. It almost never is. I liked this game, as an experience, but in the end, it strikes me as being a lot like Mass Effect 2...interesting as a thing, but ultimately a wrong direction that wastes time. The most interesting concept that was setup by Fallen Order was the relationship between Cal and Merrin. Nothing that they will do in the next (and pathetically final) installment will even remotely approach being as interesting as the idea of Cal and Merrin beginning a relationship and having children that have both Jedi Force powers and Nightsister Magick by inheritance from their parents. NOTHING Respawn and EA do will be as interesting as that beautiful and ultimately ignored and fumbled possibility. Ironically, they actually got almost close with the Survivor storyline. Cal and Merrin trying to raise their children in an Empire-infested world would be an amazing storyline, and would (among other possible tracks) include the kinds of inner debate and turmoil that Bode went through as a parent and father...but it would open up an additional unlimited vista, one populated with characters having BOTH Jedi and Nightsister potential. Having Cal and Merrin effectively adopt Kata, a likely force user, seems like a similar concept, but she is just an average, ho-hum force potential. Kata PALES in comparison to the potential of children born from Cal's and Merrin's relationship. The theoretical potential for a Jedi/Nightsister conjugal brood has exactly ONE chance to "bear fruit" (pun intended), and it is THIS franchise, and Respawn has inexplicably bumbled that opportunity with this boring Tanaloor storyline. The ONLY possible redemption would be that they make the decision to ditch the "trilogy" concept and continue indefinitely to make games with no end in sight. Not 4, or 5, 6, or 7 games--but 10, or 12, or 15, or more. FOLLOW the storyline of Cal and Merrin as a couple, as parents, who are trying to do what Bode failed to do...be responsible parents in a crazy and inhuman world. That's a challenge that virtually all people face in our world, and it is one of the most universal challenges ever. Following this power-endowed couple on that overwhelming quest could potentially be the most amazing storyline in gaming history. Instead, we will some lame shit that tries to sardine-pack an ending into one final game, and nothing that they come up with will hold a candle to the amazing and profound journey potential that Respawn and EA have so predictably squandered. Very, very sad.
@@JWhitlocke I don't dislike the game. I just think the best possible storyline is sitting there for the taking, and they are going to pass it by for loot boxes.
