People genuinely think Caicedo was good last season? Caicedo was flop of the season. His best games in a Chelsea shirt came with Gallagher next to him. The reason Enzo can't play in the 6 is because of his lack of defensive intelligence. I've seen him defend, he can't do it. I didn't just hear someone say they'd take a Fulham defender ahead of a top 5 defender itw? Genuinely personally only Saliba, Rudiger, VVD and Milatao are better. Last season he wasn't erratic and complimented Saliba very well while also having to deal with no consistent left back. Now Calafiori is joining he's only going to get better. Maresca was terrible in Italy, being sacked after 6 months. After working under Pep he goes to Leicester who looked brilliant first few months, then it all came crashing down when teams figured out their tactics. Defensively doesn't know how to coach and his football is genuinely just Pep Guardiola. It's not like Arteta who uses aspects of Pep's football, it looks the exact same. They spent quite a few games last season losing 1-0, not having answers for the opposition. Eventually Leicester fans wanted him sacked as he literally nearly failed to be promoted with a Premier League side after having a 17 point lead at the start of 2024. I refuse to believe Maresca is a good manager, I wouldn't be surprised if he's 1st on Christmas and 8th in May, that's the sort of coach I think he is. If Chelsea challenge for the title under Maresca in the next 5 years I was wrong.
