I’ve noticed when it’s cold you’re mostly going to catch shad and a couple of Sunperch . As it starts warming up, the bank should be loaded with a Tilapia early in the morning.

Yeah I was told at the office where you pay to get in there’s like 7 gators in the lake. But that was last year might be more now idk 🤷🏽‍♂️

They didn't mention that there's 7 gators when I paid to get in. I was there this past Sunday and Monday didn't see any gators

Ksat news channel has a post about it you can see it and one of the gators published May 6th 2021. I go all the time and have yet to see one in person but they there.

I guess I'm just doing something wrong, I've gone bank fishing 4 times in a row, 4 different days and haven't even caught so much as a catfish! 😭

@@JacobJustDidThat I doubt you’re doing anything wrong you are probably fishing with the baits everyone else is using. My guess would be you are not getting the bait deep enough. If you throw from the bank at certain spots the water is pretty shallow for a long ways. When I first started fishing Calaveras I had the same issue. I say it’s your mission to keep going and keep trying. I don’t always get lucky from the bank and that makes me go back to try again.
