@@Fishin4Trophies thank you so much. Amateur fisher and your setup looks legit and definitely shows you have great experience. I’m a local here in San Antonio and enjoy your content great videos ! Keep up the good work!
Thanks again! I thought I was gonna be the only one fishing in the rain but as it was pouring like crazy the park started to get filled up with people fishing. Hopefully this Thursday got another video to share. 🔥
Thanks bro! Glad someone enjoys watching those parts! I try to show everything I do because there are people that know and people that don’t know and want to catch. Thanks for the comment 👊🏽
Yes since I can’t always drive down to Port A all the time this is the closest I can get to catching a redfish! 15 min drive from the house! Thanks for checking it out.
I can never catch tilapia for bait. I always catch shad. But I lost 2 big reds this past Sunday and Monday but that was on shad. Oh yeah the was cold 🥶
I’ve noticed when it’s cold you’re mostly going to catch shad and a couple of Sunperch . As it starts warming up, the bank should be loaded with a Tilapia early in the morning.

@@ampsvisa6587 That’s a nice boat and size! It’s hard to make plans to go fishing considering I only have a few hours one day a week to go. But if I ever run into you out there that’s a different story! 👊🏽

Ksat news channel has a post about it you can see it and one of the gators published May 6th 2021. I go all the time and have yet to see one in person but they there.
@@JacobJustDidThat I doubt you’re doing anything wrong you are probably fishing with the baits everyone else is using. My guess would be you are not getting the bait deep enough. If you throw from the bank at certain spots the water is pretty shallow for a long ways. When I first started fishing Calaveras I had the same issue. I say it’s your mission to keep going and keep trying. I don’t always get lucky from the bank and that makes me go back to try again.
