It’s no secret that I think oxygen is amazing, and I love all sorts of oxygen therapies (especially hyperbaric oxygen therapy or HBOT).
But is it possible to get too much oxygen? Or phrased another way, can oxygen be toxic?
Yes, and it’s called oxygen toxicity. We’ve done other videos explaining the 2 types of oxygen toxicity (central nervous system oxygen toxicity and pulmonary oxygen toxicity, which you can check out here: www.youtube.co....
But in those videos we didn’t cover how to calculate the dosage of oxygen and specifically, how to know you’re keeping your patient safe from pulmonary oxygen toxicity.
So in this video we’re going to cover that AND explain the other reason you should learn how to calculate the dosage of oxygen.
