I keep getting a parsing error when trying to run the BT raster calculator expression. i've double checked that my expression matches exactly. i've tried in both arcmap 10.8 and arcgis pro 2.8.
@@SeekShowSchool i ended up splitting the step into just calculating BT and then converting to Celsius (the last bit of the expression), which worked out fine.
The formula to looking for PV is square (NDVI-NDVImin)/(NDVImax-NDVImin) right?? The result of your NDVImin is -0.16918 and the NDVImax 0.548519. Which one the true one, is square(NDVI+0.16918)/(0.548519+0.16918) or (NDVI-0.16918)/(0.548519-0.16918) ? Thanks.
Hello, thanks for he video, I understood very well...what is the report or paper you are suing from were u get the chart to guide you?? What Landsat did u use, Collection 1 or 2?
Thank you very much sir for this easy steps, have you refered this method in any publication ? I need to refer in my papers. Thanks once again in advance.
Sir, i want to ask if my study area need to be mosaic that means it need to do separately come out with NVDI come out with LSTonly i can proceed to mosaic my data ? or we can do mosaic first then proceed with NDVI and LST??
Why am i getting 48 degrees celcius as max temperature for 2002, while i am getting 33 degrees celcius for 2020 in my UHI study? kindly assist with an answer
Hi, that is helpful. Do you know how to do eqation LST(NDVI) with only raster map or do you have instuction how to do it and then put results on the map?
helloo thank you for sharing.. im interested with your video. may i ask, how about deriving LST from ASTER especially from ASTER TIR band? does it have same steps?
Hello sir, Actually currently im using Landsat 8 IMG to estimate the LST so the DN to Radiance value falling correct but after the calculation of radiance when I calculate the radiance to satellite Temperature, in which i also use -273.15 but my temp falling very low sometimes and sometimes very high... solve my query it will be great for my presentation. Thanks
for Landsat 5,what is the additive rescaling factor which will be used in TOA Equation? multiplicative rescaling factor is 0.055375, right?? one more thing is that LST Equation will remain same for landsat 5? I mean 0.00115 and 0.01438??
Hi! sorry for the delay. You will have to use the values relevant to your downloaded satellite images. Please find the values from the meta data file ( a notepad should be there! Thanks :)
Hii, I was about to ask the same question. But, you had asked it already. Does it work for the Landsat 5 TM also. Please reply and send steps of LST if you have done it. thanks in advance.
I have encountered an error during the calculation of toa.... Temperature ranges from -2.6 to 42 which is not feasible in my study area. Can you guide me to rectify the error
Hi, thank you for the video! I would be interested in receiving the document that you work off in the video. I am also interested in the sources you used to create this document so I can cite them too. Thank you!
Seek Show Hey, first of all thank you for the informational video. It really helped me understand the process of calculating LST. But to be able to use your way of calculating LST i have to be able to cite the source of the equations. Would you mind sending me the documents you used or tell me the names of the papers? my mail is ftfelixtischer@gmail.com
