What if your solution has a radical in it? For example square root of 10. The answer is 3.16227766. How can you convert it into improper fraction?

Our calculator from College doesn't have the shift button and won't allow to change fractions to decimals with one more push of the Ab/c button.:( We have a Texas Intrument TI-30XIIS Am I doing something wrong or do you think this calculator is limited? Thanks.
