Thank you! I'm taking Calc 3 right now and you have the clearest explanation of how the vector form of the equation of a line is developed. Using component vectors and vector addition cleanly shows how the equation is formed. I hate memorizing formulas and have always required myself to understand the basic principles underlying the mathematics.
