After disembarking the Disney Wonder from our Baja cruise, we finish our Spring Break vacay in the happiest place on Earth! There, Caleb has his very first Disneyland churro, and we hit up some rides.

My daughter is 40 and about 10 years ago she decided to start collecting pressed pennies. Get Caleb the books to put them in if he doesn't have them. It's really a cute inexpensive souvenir. ❤

Tell Caleb I love the pressed pennies and medallions too. Even though I live in Colorado I started the 100 year medallion collection at Disneyland on a visit and I've been budgeting to buy a few sets on mercari every month. I have 4 more sets to get and I'll have the full Disneyland collection. I have books and books of pressed pennies from many years of vacations. Lol. Love you guys.

What a wonderful way to vacation a cruise and then Disneyland and yeah I forgot it started off with the concert Madonna. Always enjoy your family time together from New Year to Thanksgiving and Christmas.

I enjoyed this. I've been to Disney World many, many times (I love in East Coast), but never Disneyland - so it was a treat to see Walt's original part. Caleb is so sweet.

You really need to visit Disneyland. It’s the original. No spending a lot of time on monorails and buses. Walt Disney walked the park. He did not at WDW. DL has much better Churros.

I wanted to add that we had a friend with three daughters. She gave each girl the same amount of money each month as the girl's age, and took them to Goodwill to find their Breyer horses or toy horses.

Magic Dads are doing such a great job with Caleb. I wanted to offer an idea that I did with my dtr when she was Caleb's age and she realized that you needed money to get stuff. One day, she wanted a cheap toy that I knew she had enough money to buy herself. I suggested that she purchase it with her own money. She did not buy it, but instead walked away. So, I started giving her an allowance ($20 a month in the late 80s when she was six in exchange for age appropriate chores) or enough money that if she saved that month she could buy something she really loved at the end of the month, or save for two months if it was more expensive. She was into Breyer horses at the time where the least expensive was $18. From that point on I rarely bought her toys except for Xmas and birthdays. Now as an adult, she owns her own business, and handles finances extremely well.
