Only reason Allen's numbers will drop is due to the amount of mouths to feed...

Id like a guy like Khalil Herbert to get paid a nice team friendly deal. If he didn’t get hurt, he’d have 2 1000 yard rushing seasons and that’s with him being a backup.

The next block Herbert makes will be his first. That is why he will never get paid. His presence all too often telegraphs what you're going to do. You sure can't trust him to block on deep routes .

Big Dex jumps to top 10 3techs in the NFL: Chris Jones had 42 pressures on 741 defensive snaps (5.67% rate) Big Dex had 29 pressures on 432 defensive snaps(6.71%rate). Dex had 20 pressures in the last 9 games on 234 snaps (8.55% rate).

Hot take: Packers finish last in division I get “oh he’s a bias bears fan” but I have reasonings. We all agree lions are most likely first. I believe packers overperformed last season and will regress, on top of bears being better and I believe Vikings will surprise people. I still believe packers will have a winning record, but they will be last in our division with Vikings in third and bears in second

@@spaceghost8995 I know. Thats why it’s a hot take that they will. Hot takes aren’t meant to be things people expect to happen. I admit i wouldn’t be surprised in the slightest if I’m wrong but I see that playing out this season

DON'T let emotions get in your way. Other than Jenkins , Davis is the best guard on the roster and it isn't close. You start Davis and let it play out.

It constantly amazes me how NFL fans *& analysts& pretend that play-calling matters so selectively. As if Only Roster matters. Any idea why with the same basic receiving corps Dak led the NFL in INTs one year but was in the MVP discussion the next? Nope. Any idea how Lamar Jackson put up Daniel Jones-like numbers in-between MVP seasons? No one cares! Then you'll talk about how Kyle Shanahan & Andy Reid are great play-callers. Why? None of you _sees_ or understands the effects of play-calling. If you did, you'd *know* Caleb doesn't have a chance. He has the same skill set as Fields, right? & the play-calling undermined Fields. So? Was it or was it not Getsy or Eberflus calling those offensive plays? Let's look at the evidence. The plays called changed drastically twice in two years. There was a 5-game streak in '23 where the Bears almost swept the far superior Lions & another in '22 where they were the #1 offense in the NFL for 3 weeks. Both times the offense was _way_ more productive. If you think the good streaks were Eberflus' play-calling you have a problem. How do you explain Getsy sneaking his worse plays in without him noticing? Because neither streak of good offensive play-calling were used at the end of either season. On the other hand we have evidence supporting that Getsy called the better plays. 1) Eberflus has No Experience calling offense. 2) Yet we know he called it because he boasted about doing so to the point that the press only asked *him about* questions regarding the offense. 3) The 5-game good streak in '23 was after they acquired Sweat & a new DC, things that would have required 'Flus' attention, not Getsy's & 4) no coincidence, the 3-game streak in '22 came after Fields called out 'his play-callers' publicly & Eberflus realized he could not talk his way out of this trouble he himself created _BY_ being the play-caller messing the offense up. So, we have a lot of indications that the bad plays, sending receivers on routes that covered two passers, having o-linesmen run away from blocks, are all things that increased immensely when Eberflus was in charge. So what about Shane Waldron? Similarly, we have the Seahawks playing great in '22 exceeding all expectations, then all the great QB play following Canales to Tampa Bay. Meanwhile Waldron inherited an offense with a deep receiving corps _AND_ Jake Bobo & JSN & somehow the whole team regressed. Even before being decimated by injury, their o-line couldn't block correctly for runs. So now we have _two_ inept play-callers, one who ran a way better receiving corps that was already known to work into the ground, another who undermined a QB with Williams' skill set So Badly he's now widely regarded as a complete bust by the majority of people. Good luck Caleb.
