Idk why that one was so hated. At the same time people crowned the Seahawks trading a 2nd rounder for a worse player (sorry Leonard Wiliams) who had far less impact

@@lnnrt0161 People thought the GM of a rebuilding team was dumb enough to give up a second rounder for a six month rental. Yeah, like he is some sort of a promoted trainee or something.

@@FR-nc3vb What I noticed around this period was that likely due to acclimating Sweat & the new DC to the team, Matt Eberlfus had his hands full. So Luke Getsy was interfered with less & started running some of the plays that 'Flus had cancelled & the offense was good again. I'm stunned how few people noticed this. Then of course 'Flus came back & cancelled all the good plays again.

It was probably the stink that still lingered from giving up a high 2 for Claypool give Poles credit he cut bait with Claypool and wasn’t afraid to keep grinding. NO GM bats 1000 but Poles didnt hold on to a mistake and he also wasn’t gun shy to stick to his vision. And anyone should have known he wasn’t giving up a second rounder on Sweat to be a rental 🐻 DOWN!!

What are your thoughts on him as an individual? I know it’s first impressions but I am still curious

@@FlyingT20 slightly shorter then I thought, and he was alone surprisingly enough, he wasn’t traveling with people like you would expect and he also seemed a little anxious/awkward about meeting new people, I’m not surprised considering that he must have many strangers walk up to him by now, on a day to day basis but if I ever seen someone with anxiety he definitely fits the bill at least off the Field. But he seems like a nice person, he kept our conversation brief, and yes his fingernails was painted.

Watch the games, he gets a lot of the that time because he runs out of the pocket to avoid sacks creating more time for him to throw

digging into the stats. caleb bails from clean pockets at a pretty low%. when other qbs scramble, they are much more likely to run which doesn't factor into their TTT. because caleb is likely to throw at the end of his scrambles his TTT is dragged up. when you compare him to other QBs with scambles removed, he falls in a much more typical range. if you watch his games you can see he operates the quick game and reads the field well because his release is efficient.

Anyone being comfortable with him in the locker room has issues. He'll text them with his lipstick phone after he puts his dress on after the game. He won't last.

I kinda agree but the only thing that will hold him back is himself, and everyone wants to call him a diva or a bad teammate and poor locker room presence. But nobody who knows him has said or eluded to that being true. So us as fans who can’t talk to him can only look at the tape which is phenomenal
