I've only just discovered Calexico in the past few months, but I can't think of a more versatile, genre-bending group of musicians anywhere or from any time. Please bring your roadshow to Nashville guys; you'd be perfect for The Ryman!

Just saw them in SF on Saturday. Best show yet and I've been seeing this band live since 2000 and listening since 96ish when Spoke came out. Great new music and so varied stylistically from Cumbia to Indie rock and borderlands Americana.

@@pattybee808 Have you ever gone to Tucson to see them? If not it might be worth the trip as they sometimes have the bigger band with 4 more horns and strings. Joey and Jon moved out of state so maybe they don't do the big band anymore. You're a super fan!

Relatively late to the game with these artists. Have a working familiarity mostly through other recording artists calibrations. Had the opportunity to see the Live last night in Fall River MA. OMG- Wall of SOUND. Orchestral Rythmic Hypnotic Ride they took us on. Brilliant, Brilliant Musicians.

big kiss from Hungary (from the home country of Attila Zoller and Gábor Szabó) (Calexico has been one of my favorite bands for about 20 years) and this show, after/during COVID and WAR, is very very good, I'm not kidding

First because aware of Joey Burns and John Convertino when they were in the band Friends of Dean Martinez. Now an avid fan of their band Calexico. Love their recorded music, but wow can this band put on a fabulous live show. Very few bands can get me up moving like they do. Also, such great people, always giving a shout out to others.

Joey is so talented and soulful, a beautiful human being. I really love this peformance. The band is totally in synch, except the drumming is a little off.

This is a great set by a great band. But when is KEXP going to learn that they are filming a BAND, not a group of individuals? Stop putting cameras in all their faces and let us see them as a band. Fire the art school graduates and hire somebody who just knows how to use and point a camera at a band.
