Cranston and even Sundance, than Mckenzie used to be outlying neighborhoods, even prior to a ring road. Now Arbor Lake and Mohagany as well as others exist and probably people's thinking is not the same. The downtown core is far away and probably not important because there is still only one core instead of a Metropolis with more than one.
