Just finished the zen video to this. I swear during the intro I was thinking this sounds exactly like Beck. I even wondered if it was a cover I didn't know and then your comment cleared that up. Fabulous! This has ‘attitude’ in spades! Perfect psychedelic guitar work. Love the ‘steering’ wheel. This is high art and I mean it. Where the hell did you find the (early 60’s ?) LA street scenes?

Thank you! I should have released this when I had a recording contract! I coulda been famous! I found those old videos on RU-vid. I hope nobody complains about my using them. Most RU-vidrs allow their videos to be "remixed," which I think this qualifies as. I believe they must have originally been made for movies who wanted to have scenes where someone is driving a car. In those days, scenes like that had to be done with rear projection.

I don't remember what I was using then. Probably a Big Muff plugged directly into the 4-track machine (no amp). I got a pedal called a Thrash Master later that I loved, but I don't think I had it when I made this recording.
