Might as well call it a nonsoon if that high ridge is coming back. Hahaha. I stopped in a monsoon downpour one time and lightening hit the top of my car and turned the entire atmosphere around the car a bright orange, couldn't see anything but a bright orange and an instant deafening bang. There was a dent on the top of the car when I got home and looked.. Got stuck outside once when it hit a tree in the front yard about 25 or 30 feet away, could not go outside when there was any clouds in the sky without getting a panic attack. Took two years to get over that, lol

i dread dry lightning here on the central coast of cali. this is what started the czu fire 3 years ago, wiping out half of my community of bonny doon. ugh…stay away !

As a former military guy, I can tell you that we have satellites that can detect a fighter jet going into afterburner. This is old tech. There is no reason wildfires should be a surprise when we can have satellite and drone coverage that can detect a campfire size fire. Once detected, dispatch can direct sheriff's deputies, fire fighters and water bombers to keep these fires from getting out of control. I'm convince that there is a human source to most wildfires and sometimes it is arson. Arson perpetrated by criminals and arson perpetrated by global warming disciples. It needs to stop. Maybe I'm over-simplifying the issue but maybe I'm not.
