The south delta was definitely slow this year with not as much fish around as in past years, but there was still some decent fish to be had in the south and central delta. The jerk bait fishing turned on at the end of the year which will be in my upcoming video.

Well the majority of the time if you have seen my videos...LOL I use a size 1 octopus hook and Senko worms where I put a rubber O ring around the smooth part (upper middle) of the worm to hold the hook. I also use 12-14lb fluorocarbon line as that line is strong!

I like using a medium heavy rod. I'm a cheapskate when it comes to buying rods & reals so really up to you. Gotta be a light rod 6-7ft and I usually get size 2000-3000 spinning reel and I fill the spool half way or a little over. Just wasting line if ya fill the spool close to max
