I have a claim for a. Temporary disability since June 2023. I was diagnosed with cancer and I start a Chimoteraphy treatment, I had to stop working. I do not have other income. Now February 1, 2024 and I am waiting for and answer as they are pretending they’re not able to verify my identity, and I received 2 letters denying me my disability. I paid always my taxes, and always on time.
I applied over 10 years ago My application was in 2010 I still had yet to get any state disability insurance. I received federal Social Security disability insurance but I don't qualify or at least I didn't qualify for SSI because it puts too much income however STI they certainly maybe confusing as I was a kid still. And I'm just now trying to get this submitted to where they are satisfied but I find it quite ironic because of the fact that they know California that is knows my cost of living adjustment before I do so they take it out of my food stamps before I even get a paycheck so to call it increase is immediately decreased by California.
Okay, I figured it out. Just do the code they ask you to enter AND THEN DIAL 111 - social security number - 4 digit pin - press 0. Worked on first try for me. 47 minute wait time, but I'll take it :)
