@@MakeTimeForFishing You're welcome. I love using swimbaits for them cause you can feel the bite. In San Diego, in my opinion, we have the best spotted bay bass fishing around. I have friends from all over and they mostly agree with that. It's been a few years since I've made videos and need to restart that. I got sick a few years back and didn't fish for a while. I also have to upgrade from my GoPro Hero 2 cameras. I've been focusing on offshore fishing and need to change it up to some inshore fishing and target halibuts. My friends have been catching some nice ones in the bays in San Diego. I see their many posts and pictures. I have got to go fishing again in Florida. My friend lives in Vero Beach and we only fished out of Fort Pierce for a couple of hours back in 2011 for some black sea bass, I think, cause it was way too hot and humid. Will have to hit the waters in Jacksonville, North Carolina where my sister lives too. I've been busy with work and haven't fished in a few weeks. I need to get out. Let me know if you're in town again. We are always looking for people to join us fishing out there on my boat. Fish on!

@@kisdasenglothnam right on! Sorry to hear that but hope you're doing better now. I use to have a Hero 3 and man have the cameras improved. Resolution wise and also stability, makes the video turn out really well. I'll let you know if I'm ever back in the area and we can see if we can get out together. I know, Glenn really has quite the setup! Completely agree on putting them back, I love to keep fish but I don't see a point in filling up the freezer. I much prefer fresh fish anyway and it helps the populations of fish! Thanks for watching!

Would highly recommend the trip to anybody who has the opportunity to make it! Fishing aside it's a beautiful area, but add in the fishing and you're in for an amazing time.

Thanks so much man! I was born in Monterrey but haven't lived there since I was 3 haha my brother just moved out there recently so I was out there visiting him.

That was a first for me too, I always cast a net for our live baits on the east coast. Thank you very much I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Absolutely, makes it that much more fun to catch them! Good question, believe it was called the bait torpedo. First time I'd seen that design and they're really useful. Almost no drag!

Thank you! And yes I was actually told this by somebody else a little while ago, apparently the limit is 3 north of Monterrey (or somewhere around there) and 5 south of it. I appreciate you letting me know though, next time I'm out there I'll aim for 5+!

Hey man, sorry I'm actually not sure what type of reel it was. The gear was supplied by Glenn but you're right it handled those hali great!

Thanks! Mine was a very short rod, 5'6 ML, think Glenn's rod was a 6' ML or so. They used really light tackle for them, made it even more fun!
