Or Courier simply doesn't aid you. Legion guaranteed its victory without even having need of courier. NCR's courier job is trying to prevent everything Legion had prepared. A job that should be made by NCR mind you,not a mercenary.
@@clanker3967 so did Fallout 1 and 2, Shandy Sands is in different locations in both games. the games have never had linear lore, sorry to burst the bubbles of Fallout NV fans. one of the original creators of the game likes the shows, he has a RU-vid channel you can check out. he goes over stuff like lore and settings.

Yeah I did one before (this was a remake) and there was a guy that did his few days before I did my first version, I put his vid in the description cus although I didn't copy him he came up with the idea first.
Now all we need is the independent ending version with the laser sound effects and the boomer's lady in the water screeching overhead with bombs being dropped.
I'm in the same boat. I saw this faction grow from a small impoverished village to a massive nation that rebuilt the state of California. I know that the NCR needed to collapse at some point. All empires do, and I was willing to let it go. But the way the show treated it... NCR deserved better man.
I mean, most centurions use firearms primarily. If these was somewhat realistic they wouldnt stand a chance running into bullets that are twice as big as your fingers. And the anti material rifle ammo is 12.7mm ammo is the size of half your hand.
@noahfromkakanj well yeah realistically the legion would get folded in every major battle since they send their men in with just melee weapons to be fodder
@@primary2630 They use firearms though, the recruits rarely use it however, as they reject over reliance of firearms and modern technology. And in lore most of the ncr troopers have 2 weeks of training before being sent out.

Yes, you run into a wall of 5.56 wearing football pads that would only stop a machete, maybe an axe swing if the person was a pushover. Yes, that ceramic, plastic crap would definitely keep you safe from a guy with a 20 round mag of 5.56 dumping 5 or 6 rounds into you while all his buddies do the same to other legionnaires. Lol.

Legion does have tactics, They do use firearms, they are trained to actually use all kinds of weapons, making them much more trained than the average NCR trooper that is sent out with two weeks of training. The biggest disadvantage the Legion has is the lack of long range soldiers and snipers, which made them very prone to losing their higher ups
@@МирјанаАдамовић god i wish fallout had proper faction accurate AI, NCR would use basic small unit tactics, rangers keep you on the edge and are always flushing you out and suppressing you to move up like the combine overwatch. Ghouls swarm you, nightstalkers pick you off in hit and runs apart of pacts, legion charges to overwhelm you or if you engage their higher ranking member first they form a circle to watch you battle it out and if you win they swarn you...etc

I’ve realised that I am for some reason really attracted to the super militaristic colonial factions in video games, first the UNSC and then the NCR, what’s next?

Meanwhile some absolute madman is charging the entire legion with his gaggle of random homeless people, including a ghoul gunslinger, a fucking nightkin and a robot dog. You could've sworn you just saw an Enclave squad land, the fort just erupted and you can see the securitron lights blaring. Then the Bomber flies over. And then the rest of the Securitrons roll up behind you.
Fun Fact: The NCR Rangers were originally called "the Desert Rangers." They merged with the NCR after they got pushed out of Arizona by the Legion. Yes, it is a Wasteland reference.

Ncr is numerically inferior and poorly equiped most ncr troops have service riffles who are on poor condition and with scant armor Legion has firearms and grenades too and throwing spears
The legion does shock attacks and concentrated attacks and raids like on nipton,camp forlorn hope and Nelson while the NCR cannon counterattack as there are orders given by the NCR heads to stand the ground
@@okloshbrokla8154but said troops with said equipment are alsp few and far between for the Legion in the lore. Legion is also just as desperate for resources while the NCR has a proven history of being able to fight advanced factions like the BoS. And people underestimate the power of an old rifle, even an actual 100 year old springfield or mauser can tear through the padded armour of the Legion.
I always played the battle to "Trivium - In Waves" myself. The song REALLY added to things when i heard the song hit "Everybody Else with Me" just as the boomers nuked legion into the dark ages with that giant bomber

I really don’t know how they don’t capitalize on a FNV remake with Bethesda being under the same banner as obsidian literally Microsoft has the opportunity to make game on the century but they want to sleep on the fallout ip or add in voice protagonist or remove many many rpg features like in 4 and 76 those games are a hollow shell of new Vegas and new Vegas was rushed beyond belief but still in my opinion the greatest RPG of all time even with it being rushed but obsidian made a good game under the pressure I just hope FNV can get a remaster for next gen at the least but Xbox would probably make it Xbox exclusive I use a ps5 so I’m not gonna buy an Xbox just to play a remaster even if it comes out but still long live new Vegas !
I think we'll see something in a few years, both bethesda and obsidian are still working on projects from before Microsoft. I would be extremely suprised If there isn't talks to make different kinds of fallout games, like top down RPGs or something, or even a NV remaster
