Great video with good info. If I had to recommend a topic. As a Newbie hunter myself. I'd be interested in your personal experiences, and goals you have yourself. Thanks!
Thanks for the information. Can you do a video on where to find public land to hunt on? Also looking into pig hunting so any information on that would be appreciated 👍🏽.
Thanks for the info, I’m located in the inland Empire, and was curious if there was any hunting down in this area. I figured it would be small game only most likely.
Excellent video! Can you please do a “Hunting in California: 101” video. I just got into hunting but I don’t even know where to begin or even what I can hunt. Thanks!
Most of the states hunting application process are complicated..designed to weed out the ones who don't want to do the research...it actually works..lol.
Love the video and can’t wait to watch the rest of them. I have a question. This is my first year hunting. I put in with a party of 6 let’s say 1st choice X8 2nd choice D5. Now I have a buddy that wants to do a party of 2 on G39 but it’s not allowing me to do so online. Why?
That's a good question. I believe it's because you have already put in for a 1st Deer Tag Drawing, through your first party. Although, I am not an expert on the party system. I'll do some research!
This was awesome. I am a California native and the thought of trying to hunt here was overwhelming. I have family in Missouri, so all my plans for hunting are based there. That's added cost for travel and out of state tag fee's. So getting more info to navigate our overly confusing state is extremely helpful. Looking forward to watching more of your content.
Budget Hunter, great videos now if they could get more in-depth how these things work. I am new to the hunting scene and will be hunting with a bow only, how would this effect my choices? I was thinking of 1st Deer tag drawing choice x10, 2nd choice g38, 3rd choice the D-11, D-13, D-15 combo
I just got my first hunting license. I saw that you could get it by just doing the online course this year due to COVID-19 so I thought why not. Of course I had a stronger interest than just that but it was a great opportunity. But a glance at how this system works was confusing so it’s great that you’re providing some great information on how it all works! Thanks! New subscriber here.
Perfect channel and perfect timing for my first hunting season too. Looking forward to more content! SoCal resident here too, so its good to know others are in the same boat.
Great video, looking forward to future content. This is my first year getting a license, thinking of starting with small game and following your method next year. Keep them videos coming
You can usually buy all the southern CA but D17 units OTC. IMO shoot for the moon when you have 0 pts and then buy a A zone or others that will be available on 7/2
Good job, Zack! I like the way you weave in the pics and videos of the game, the maps, and other info on the screen. Keep up the good research and post more videos. (And shoot something!)
OC native here - Great vid bro. I'm new to hunting and finding it very difficult at times to get basic info. This helps a lot. I was thinking about trying cleveland national (D15) for my first hunt, but I'm open to suggestions. Keep up the good work!
Move... Archery permit in Missouri gives me two white tail of either sex, two turkeys of either sex, small game, and it'sgood anywhere in the state. It's $19.
