As a defector of Commiefornia, after thirty-one years I can say that there were many reasons why I left, but the biggest reason was the regressive, liberal politics.
TO ALL CALIFORNIANS: 1, DO NOT VOTE BAD BLUE POLITICS AND BAD BLUE LAWS THAT YOU FLED AWAY FROM! 2. DO NOT CHANGE THE RED STATES LAW INTO THE SAME BAD BLUE STATE LAWS THAT YOU FLED AWAY FROM! 3. THE RED STATES ARE ATTRACTIVE BECAUSE OF THEIR GOOD RED STATE LAWS, SO DO NOT CHANGE IT AND DO NOT VIOLATE IT! 4. RED STATES ARE ATTRACTIVE BECAUSE THEY VOTED RED, SO VOTE RED TO MAKE THE RED STATES ATTRACTIVE INDEFINITELY. 5. LEAVE BAD BLUE STATE CALIFORNIA ATTITUDES AND MENTALITY WHEN YOU ENTER A RED STATE FOR A RED STATE BECAME ATTRACTIVE BECAUSE OF GOOD RED STATE ATTITUDES AND MENTALITY. AND DO NOT MESS WITH TEXAS AND DO NOT MESS WITH THE RED STATES!
It’s nice to come to a state where they’re conscientious about how they spend your tax dollar and you won’t get mugged from wanting to go to a Trump rally
mike a Really?! Well ur intelligent aren’t you? When 39.6% of Texans are of Mexican descent. Fact check. Shows you are a Bigot, IGNORANT outright blatant racism YOU RACIST. Join the KKK.
Unfortunately, the liberals have already taken Austin! It will only be a matter of decades before the whole state is ruined! Didn't Beto come out of Texas???!!
I live in Dallas / Fort Worth and I gotta say "IT'S BOOMING". But one of my biggest concerns is that we are getting flooded by people from California and their mentalities. Keep North Texas RED and don't ruin a good thing.
The same is happening here in the UK, in London. High cost of living (food, services), impossibly priced houses for the middle and middle-lower class (well, there just aren't any!) and the uneasy threat of terrorism, theft/violence and knife crime. People are leaving in droves. Even in other Southern counties it's getting too expensive to live. We lived somewhat near to London. My partner had a good job with Microsoft and I work full-time but we STILL could not afford most homes in my hometown - so we had to move 3 hours away to North West UK. It's like the "middle class" are dissapearing or being made into lower-class or poor people, eveywhere...
@@leslieh4290 Check all the cities with the highest taxes and highest percentage of homeless showing they have been controlled by democrats for many years.
They are flooding to Arkansas after Fayetteville was ranked as one of the best places to live in the US. If you’re not business friendly then stay out.
How can they be BLUE States when they leave because of TRUMPS TAXS ? What has that got to do with it, Red or Blue, Trump taxs are killing Bussiness and people.
To those fleeing the mess you voted into office, stay out of Michigan. We have nasty cold weather and rough roads, so just move to Oregon and Washington where you fit in. Even Detroit doesn't want you.
And so beings the viscous cycle. They higher they taxes, the more people that flee. The more people that flee, the higher they raise taxes to compensate. This cycle has but one possible conclusion. California is swirling and circling the drain.
I’m Glad Deanna Lorraine is going for Nancy Pelosi’s District. The only way to lesson the migration out of these blue states is replace the Democrats and vote Republican.
So...they are all just moving to Seattle where taxes are just as bad but HAD cheaper living...but now have driven the housing and job market to the brink just like the places they left. Rents have doubled and tripled in one year. I'm in seattle and watching this happen, plus it is a sanctuary city and great place for illegal immigrants to move to take advantage of. Homeless encampments everywhere and they keep creating new taxes to help the homeless but really they just do nothing with the extra tax dollars! Taxes on straws, cups, soda, alcohol, marijuana, raised car licencing taxes and fees, etc etc,,.. It was once a beautiful diverse place and now showing what being lead by democrats can do, absolutely ruining our once perfect state. Seattle is now the northwest version of California without sunshine.
NOT ALL RESIDENTS FLEEING ARE DEMS! the majority is conservatives or moderates! this is a problem. this lowers swing states, this limits constructive criticism, this increases the cost of living for the next land owner, etc
I left occupied Kalifornistan because my job had enough of over regulating everything on businesses. Lucky my job ask me to move with them to Nevada. Best decision I ever made folks. One advice to those who want to move.... Take your far left politics and leave it there in occupied Kalifornistan. It was your stupid politics that got California in that mess in the first place.
California needs to shrink anyway. The state can loose 10 million people to states other than Texas and still have more people than Texas. 39 million is just too many people in a state the geographical size of California...especially in Southern California where, without water being transferred from elsewhere, the natural climate would only support about 5 million...not 25 million. With a good chunk of the tax sources leaving, maybe (and wishfully) it will eventually put liberals in a corner to where they have no choice but to give in.
Taxes are a problem in some of the blue states. So are greedy realtors. Washington has no state income tax yet people are being priced out of places to stay in West Washington. Adjusted for inflation, we pay 40% more for housing than we did in 1970 nationally. This is even worse in some of the blue states. Seen house prices in San Francisco or Seattle? Old fashion greed is not a liberal principle. A tiny bit of prosperity by a few and landlords and realtors go for the throat on housing prices. This is happening in some of the blue states. The realtors who are this way will find the red states too given just a little bit of time so that the issue of taxes versus no taxes will be second to how much we are paying for a roof over our heads. I am not saying state income tax on some states is no issue. It is in some states. For all states, greed is an out of control disease. In blue states this disease has become runaway plague. yuk, realtors and landlords.
Not enough housing for the demand is the problem. Those "greedy realtors and landlords" are doing what the market allows. Look at all the government regulations and laws that drive up the cost of building houses and regulating real estate. Washington may not have a state income tax, but they have high taxes in other areas. The government will get their money one way or another, especially in a blue state.
The major problem is states like ours have become transient states a place where people come to take our jobs then go somewhere else when the pickings get better
Quality of life is far better in the blue states, better educational opportunities, higher income levels and social services, employment opportunities. A lot of retirees moving to lower tax states. Look at the stats on poverty and crime rates in the red states etc and that's all borne out.
I sure hope they leave their democratic leaning in califorina.. after all that is exactly why they are leaving I hope they are smart enough to figure that out.
Coastal Conservatives composing a red flight or a “Red Move” as he says in the video. Whereas you also have the blue flight..... Is there a way to keep track of all this? Like a frequently updated map or something? Just curious.
Have you jamokes ever heard of CA Prop 13? Famous 1978 law which freezes property tax in the year you purchase your house. Demand for a spot was through the roof at that time and still is. Cost of living is not high here due to taxes, it’s because a lot of people want to live here...unfortunately this goes for homeless too, they won’t die from weather. But... live and let live, unless you are threatening my safety. Otherwise it’s beautiful here. The only bad part is: whenever I am out of state tell someone I’m from here, they get all huffy. Well, have fun attacking us. You super-conservatives always seem so confused and angry about things and places you know nothing about. I have been in the company of several Fox News ultra-lovers recently- my fiance’s parents, some of his school friends, and people we met in CT, FL, SC. Guess what ALL of these people brought up in normal, non-political conversation? Politics and race. It seems to be an obsession. I feel sorry for you all.
Sorry, this is BS. Here are the figures. Not made up BS from conservative "think" tanks. Resident population in California from 1960 to 2018 (in millions) Resident population in millions 2016 39.21 2015 38.95 2014 38.63 2013 38.28
The sad thing when they move to another state they bring there baggage with them! There libers an thing were they move they have everyone bow at there feet! They will buy more land homrs business! Increase rent up proprety values taxes increase! So tell go back were they belong!
Most of the republicans still here want out, and I suspect that is the majority of the people leaving. Most people coming to my county are from LA, and they are not red at all. From what I can see, the dems are staying and the reps are leaving.
I lived most of my life in CA. I been Republican all my life. This place has become Little Mexico. The homeless problem is not in just the big cities but has affected all the cities. I am retiring this year and we are looking in a Red State. I want to feel my vote is relevant. FYI, I am Hispanic so not all brown people are sheep who vote Dem just because everybody does.
That’s what crooked demons want. Votes, slaves, dependent, ignorant at the cost of a falling state. They want to remain in power doesn’t matter what. They don’t really care for America or American citizens. Stop voting demons!
@@arkansaskid5047 you'd have a point if the majority of tax dollars didn't flow south. I really wish they'd spend more on education down there especially the dangers of in breeding.
I live in Idaho and we see a lot of California people moving here. I don't at all mind the ones that move up here and adopt the ways of Idaho (Or whatever state they move to) but it becomes a problem when they come here and try to turn it into what they just left.
Should be a law that new residents have to wait 4yrs to vote on a state level. Maybe they will wake up and realize there's a reason RED states vote RED.
I moved to LA 8 months ago and am already leaving in February. The city is too congested, expensive and overall just too many disgusting people everywhere. I've seen a homeless man taking a dump with his ass facing us at a stop light on the 101 off ramp in Hollywood. The problem is not about to get fixed and I accept that. The state is still the most beautiful but the environment is so bad it's simply not worth it. You can only take so much when you are paying an unreasonable amount. Paradise has been lost for sure 😔
NPC- what state are u from. Im a l.a. native and the cali i grew up in. Is not the cali of today. I even drove by beverly hills and honestly it was a dump. There was a mexican dude selling corn outside the beverly center. Like wtf.
@@itsme-ih2cx I'm from St. Louis, MO so yes I know I should be grateful but it's not what I had expected,, at all. Rent being high ok, traffic ok, hot women ok, beautiful weather ok,, but this homeless epidemic is really something else. I wasn't exaggerating I literally saw a guy taking a pooh smh. I wish LA was holding its self to a higher standard especially since they ask so much of all the others. Well I'm not mad I just dont see the point in all of it. Kind of regret even making the trek. LA is still my favorite town because how much I dreamed of coming here and I think I'll keep it that way, a dream. No hard feelings
Republican need to change their stance on many social issues like Abortion,LGBTQ, civil rights issues and many other things if they have any hope of not losing Texas and Florida and with them any future presidency! Look at reliably red Arizona? Look at Georgia, Georgia for God's sake! Are you kidding me? The Republican Party's power base which is the boomers are increasingly getting smaller amd tje next Generation of white youth are increasingly liberal on social issues and will vote Democrat as long as they see the Republican party intolerant amd extremely religious and bigoted! They also need to champion issues that are important to minority groups like Police reform and equality! Look at the black people for example, 87% of them voted for the Dems! Are you serious 87% that means the republican support is not even close to 20%?? 65% of latinos voted for the Dems! Now instead of fighting to get the support of the minorities Republicans are resorting to voter suppression and making voting hard for minorities and the youth! Which really back fired in 2020 and as more people become aware the more they get motivated to vote like just happened in this election! Rpeublicans need to Change and fast!! Otherwise they will be the party of once in a blue moon 1 term presidency!
You see California trying to play tax you to death chess. Trying to find every possible tax revenue source they can. From taxing text messages to gasoline.
Well property taxes are over double in texas not to mention prices are steady climbing, pretty soon every state or area that people are moving to will ultimately see surges in general tax terms (employment, commodities, property) just due to migration and supply and demand to name a few variables. Only time will tell, and it doesnt seem to be getting fixed for now. In my opinion….
I left California -- it's going down the tubes. Higher taxes = Citizens leaving + illegals coming in, using more services = more debt and still more tax increases = more citizens leaving, in a vicious cycle.
I left that hell-hole called Illinois 28 years ago, took my business with me and never looked back. I'm thankful everyday I don't live there anymore. I feel bad for the farmers who CAN'T move, but have to endure under the immense corruption of politicians in Chicago who control the rest of the state.
Of course people are leaving California. I would, too, if I weren't 86 years old and in my home for over 50 years. We have the highest taxes anywhere and now we have a Democratic legislature that can do anything it wants with no voice from Republican legislators and a governor with plans for several very expensive programs. There is already talk of more taxes. We also have underfunded pension problems that will eventually destroy California, but the new governor doesn't seem to want to work to solve that problem. He just wants to get his own agenda across. The legislature is "chomping at the bits" to spend extra money the former governor left. God help California!!!!
ar1793 I Support Military Presence in CA. Yes Martial Law until they observe the Constitution of the United States, & Law and Order is restored. God Bless You!!
Elleon DeMuskeres I do my best. What exactly do you? As going up against an Entity. I don't buy from most Corporations, no tv, I vote Straight R for 37yrs, Served my Country. What else can I freaking do till SHTF
Elleon DeMuskeres Liberals and Rinos are THE Zionists not Conservatives. No to Endless Wars but there's a thing Called the CIA and nobody votes them in. They are appointed. The Fed not voted in but Appointed. How can I stop that?
Many of the people that leave these high tax states end up voting for the same policies in the state they move to as the ones that ruined the state they left. Us people in red conservative states will welcome out of staters as long as you leave your previous states policies behind.
At 67 years it's to late for me. My whole family is here and I'm the oldest. I doubt if I move I could get any of my California babies out of here. We'll just. do all we can to turn it red. God bless California. Please!
My employer moved from Cal to Mi. Sold my house for 1.4 mil which left me with 400000.00 which I paid cash for a house that was twice the size. The back yard I had in Cal was 10 ft from the back of the house now I got 80. Best decision my boss ever made.
Shadow Banned obviously the lessons were not learned with the democrat party when socialist Venezuela, communist USSR, Cuba to name a few collapsed! And they are still pushing their ideology!
we lived in California until i was 9.. i remember it being almost perfect. But we moved end of the 1970's. Had to go there a few years ago for a test and 3 day meeting... not even recognizable. What a disaster. The California of my childhood is so far gone, it is just mythology now.
I live in Idaho, and we have Californians moving in here like crazy. The price of homes have almost doubled in the last several years, Idaho is now the fastest growing state. Home bred Idahoans are now unable to buy houses or maintain their houses because property taxes have gone up significantly, and homes are now unaffordable for the average Idahoan.
Bert. The escaping Californians have done that more than once in the past. In the mid-80's when their real estate market tanked they flooded Oregon and turned it upside down. Hence the popular bumper sticker : Don't Californicate Oregon. Washington has felt it as well, and Texas has had enough of them in the last 10 yrs. as well. Like a disease.
