California Northern Railroad Genset Pulls Amtrak Capitol Corriodor Car! RARE

The first one is a former BN GP9. Although its number appears to be 337, it was later renumbered as NWP 1922. The second engine is a GP40-2. Number 7632 was build for SP and currently rusts away at BUGX's storage facility at Chemurgic.

Cool. You should try railfaning the watsonville yard, a few weeks ago i followed a triple header of up sd60macs pulling a graniterock train all the way to san jose(where i live) and a gp30 and 15-1 picking up empties along the way. It was fun.

CMR the units are I believe a GP7/9 not sure which road. The second one is a former SP/SSW GP40-2. The light package was distinctive to those units. and also had a light package in the rear

The newly painted 4 axle unit is an Ex Espee GP-9.

Grand Western Atlas does have the Genset in CFNR paint scheme.

THE locomotives the first one is GP-9 the 2nd one was GP-40 Cotton Belt Locomotive .

Atlas should make the Genset in the paint scheme of the California Northern.

I live close to Broadway and I heard some trains rolling through. One day I was at walgreens and saw the back of one, but I don't remember the times they come by. I'd like to know the schedule and go film them.

go to the end of the line at susiun and you might be luky enoghe to see 123or4 cars for pick up
