California Storm Watch: Tracking season's 1st big storm and where rain and snow will fall 

Former 25-yr resident of Sonora and Tuolumne here! We had the most gorgeous Chinese Pistache trees. They were so lovely in fall. I miss the crisp autumn air. I miss the snow too! I’m in the Chico area now.

@@UTubeQu1che551 Those pistache trees are the most beautiful this year than I have ever seen them! All of the winter rains caused everything to be so lush this year.

She's great! I don't live in that area area either (Southern Oregon here) and she really helps in a regional aspect!

To thank God for all He has given to us and share with one another in thanksgiving to Him and celebrate this gratefulness with those we love and care for and thank God for being our God. The only thing I can gather from your message is that you sound like a very angry, unforgiving person who has a victim mentality of some kind and love, forgiveness and gratitude are far from your life in general because if you have one you can't have the other.

@@dogsense3773 I have been keeping rain records at my own house for over 30 years. Same location. As far as schooling it's called actual weather observations as they occur. I also can discern patterns over a period of time based on those observations . That's my schooling, and it's good enough for me! These weather models are projections, or guess"s at best. Remember last year the weather models said that we were going to have a dry year and the drought was going to continue. Well we had a lot of rain and snow last year. The models this year are talking about El Nino. That we are going to have big rain events for atmospheric rivers in California. As the old Wendy's after the 1980s said "where's the beef?" Well, where are these big storms? I will take my observations over these weather models anyday. Remember the Chicago Tribune in 1948 had Dewey beating Truman.Bill
