California Super Bloom in Antelope Valley 2023! Cinematic 4K HDR drone footage of poppies with dramatic, epic music.

Now is a great time to go check out the super blooms around Antelope Valley in Southern California. This area is about 1.5 hours away from Los Angeles. It’s a great place to take the best cinematic drone shots as the area is wide and open. We went here on April 9, 2023 and there are so many superblooms of poppies and wildflowers. Tip for you guys: Bring hats and lots of water as it's getting warm out there.

I actually lived in the Antelope Valley in the late 80's and the Great Blooms happened one very wet Spring when we were there and it is truly beautiful

This is also our first time capturing drone shots of superblooms and we definitely agree it’s a completely different perspective. =) We also saw some dirt bike riders coming through and they were all very considerate--waved to us each time. Have you ridden through it with the superblooms? Must be super fun. =)

Thank you so much! I don’t believe drones are allowed inside the actual reserve. But we were outside the reserve on the north end of it so I don’t believe there were any restrictions there. 😊
