@@AnEveningWithMusic I think all Tylers albums are great (but goblin and cherry bomb though cherry bomb has great highlights) but cmiygl is probably my 4th with igor at three
i’ve been wanting a video like this FOREVER. it’s great to see someone going over not just the album, but the aesthetics and world he built around the rollout. great video, keep up the amazing content!
Same!!! Tyler really did his fucking Thing with this album and everything surrounding it. It's so nice to see the appreciation of it through this breakdown. Really makes you appreciate everything that went into this album even more.
Whatever your s*** is man do it do that that your luxury. If you want to as long as it's hurting nobody go out and do it. Tyler Express is great exuberance and all sorts of joy in this album. From the coloring and the aesthetics he is went to a new level. I hope he's able to keep on going and make a seventh album that is even better than this one which I find hard to even entertain in my mind. I love you Tyler thanks for everything you really have become my new muse.
Couldn't have said it better. I hope we get a 7th too...this record feels like it hits so much of the message he would wanna leave the stage with and tells his personal story and even closes the book with Sorry not sorry, so in a way it feels like a swan song sign off record. But I don't think our boy can help himself from making more amazing art and has plenty more to bless us with.
Iam speechless, i can´t belive some one just made a full on documentary on something that i´ve been thincking about this album since 2021, so happy to life in a era where this album came out, my life now is reflection of this album, in many ways. Oh what a great video. Holla at you man, straight from Angola.
I might be one of the youngest tyler fans but i feel like i have been w him that whole time even tho i am js researching abt him and i relate w him so far in life
long comment in order to increase engagement is very very good for good for engagement. Nah but for real this video is so amazing and your accent is very pleasing to listen to and just the way its portrayed is really gopod man you deserve many more views
I saw him in 22' and it still is fresh in my mind. It blew me away more than anything ever really has. I sit with music heavily and the show really was unforgettable. I think my favorite thing about him is that he performs like its his last show, every time.
23:17 I HAVE AN IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT, I Just realised the Irregular off beat in "I thought you wanted to dance" is there bad timing why they couldn't dance together.
i don't think that wilshire was so self-contained, on corso he was saying like "tried to take somebodys bitch cause im a bad person, i don't regret shit bc that b worth it, in the end she picked him, i hope when we fuckin she still thinkin of me cause im that perfect etc." and s/itywtd was also related to that storyline, her leading him on, them having that connection, he thought she wanted to dance yk
Thank you so much for thisTyler's work is truly inspirational and a case study for all creatives out there. Well done guys for this deep dive and breakdown of a master's work.
CMIYGL was the first album i ever listened to from Tyler and i fell in love instantly. this album inspired me so much and it really made me want to appreciate life and travel the world. this album is so beautiful. it helped me through a rough patch i had recently.
I have been waiting so long for a video about this album which is really good and goes deep into the details of the whole world around it. This really deserves more attention, keep it up! ❤
This video is so underrated. I’m kind of a new fan of Tyler so this just tought me sm more about him. He’s coming to Austin in October the weekend of my birthday I can’t wait to go see him!
amazing video, high quality and the explanations are easy to understand. great job making this video man. and does anyone know what the interview is at 13:50
@@AnEveningWithMusic That's awesome dude i worked on davinci for about a year before i switched to pr pro. is this all vanilla davinci or do you use plugins?
Weird thought but i feel like the inst in i thought you wanted to dance belittles tylers feelings? Not actual tyler but his persona for this album? It almost feels like while the vocals are from the perspective of a sad tyler the inst is basically saying "youll get over her this is just a small stage in your life" with how happy and laid back it sounds. Thats just how i read it though
This absolutely perfect ur video is amazing love the editing and the way u do stuff in ur vids i can tell this took u long and im really glad that i got to see this
