Mary Shaw Roberts -I loved it... Hate alot of new stuff Eggeds, Pointless , 8/10 cats etc... had a simplicity that is missing now. For example, “would i lie to you”... 3 questions in 45 minutes of comedy gags... Eggheads has 8 participants and there are only 12 questions in the whole program. Rant over

This is a faint shadow of the original panel game. Fiona Bruce completely wrong. Rod Liddle too. Alan Coren excellent.

Liddle's comedy manner is too aggressive and hard-edged for the show's old cosy-cloistered style, + is why it finished.

Yikes! Alan Coren and Rod Liddle! And Rod starts the show with a lovely side jab at Saddam Hussein! Talk about propaganda. It’s funny how we didn’t know any better back then.
