Call of a Reluctant Prophet - Jeremiah 1:1-19 

I really blew God's call for the ministry 50 years ago when I was actually at Bible college to follow in my Dad's footsteps, and my eyes hastened to be in the world instead of studying. I even was given the option to come back in a year and begin again but I was too far gone following my own lusts. I'm following His call now when I'm 72 being active finally working for Christ. Jesus never gave up on me.

I Just read the first chapter and then found this video in hopes to get a better understanding and I sure did!

My heart has been heavy and broken over the state of rebellion of this nation. I have been spreading the hard truths with fellow church men and the rebellious culture. I have exhorted people to join me, but to no avail. I have been falsely rebuked by church folks. I have been approaching burnout. Then God brought me to the book of Jeremiah... Keep going saints!

Thank you so much for this sermon. Recently, I asked myself, what the use was of speaking out when people clearly do not want to hear it. And forgetting completely that there is still a purpose in speaking to harden hearts.

Thank you for this message I cried and laughed at same time . This is my call my life. At 232 am Holy spirit said I need you to speak to my people . Speak to them again . ( you see I love to write ✍ what God gives me. But he's has lead me to speaking his word now. I was ordained in 1984 I had a long tedious journey and yes having a call like Jeremiah is not all sweet . You ❤ must really really love the Lord Jesus 🙏 and be faithful to his calling 📞 🙏 amen This message rang loud and clear in my spirit 🙏 pray for me I been through countless battles and it is not a call that bring money fortune or fame but it's the love of Christ Jesus inside of me that keeps me faithful and walking in his Truth and righteousness. Having to tell people repent or hydgement and destruction will come is not a very popular nor welcomed message 🙂. But I am encouraged ! For the Great I AM is with me to deliver me , even though they fight against me, they shall not prevail against me. Today was my 1st time hearing of you and this message I am 70yrs old but still going strong for Jesus amen 🙏 blessings peace and ❤ in Christ Jesus my Lord 🙌 and my Saviour. Mothersandy

Jeremiah is a part of God. God lives through him. God puts God's own words in our mouth. He sends us to be where we are in this world, he commands us to speak his words. He has made us prophets to nations. God is love and love is God. We are all one in God. He lives through us. That is what these words mean and the oneness is found in many schools of thought including quantum science.

My first time listening to your teaching, love it, but I always use your commentary(enduring word) when studying I want God to use me while I'm young and healthy, and I can be a representative of Christ to others in this world 🙏🏾

Yep this is exactly what I needed to hear. Started studying Jeremiah a few days ago. No idea how or why I felt the need to be in THIS book…. I see now 🥰🙏

God has been leading my heart to Jeremiah, things popping up left and right talking about gifts, use your gift, except I don't know what it is. It's funny, because I have always had a desire to follow God but never this much before. In fact I battled years of depression that stole the whole time I was a teenager- there wasn't a reason. So I want to know what my gift is so that I can serve Him better. How do I know what it is?

I have to be honest, as a man who has been single his whole life and deeply struggled with loneliness I can't read the book of jeremiah. It discourages me so much because I always think I will die lonely like jeremiah did. Jeremiah was denied the joys and sorrows of his fellow man. I pray daily that God doesn't deny me these. It hurts badly.

Jeremiah 31:31 will be happening soon. The hearts of the New Israel are being primed by the Most High. They will be ready to hear the message preparing the way. They just have to be willing to listen. Pray for wisdom and discernment to hear the truth and understand it’s message. Don’t turn it away when it appears too difficult to handle. Think of how the Pharisees and Sadducees treated John. Don’t be like them, ask God to soften your heart. Nothing is too difficult for God. Ask Him.

He is bringing judgment to America... on the way ! On the way ! On the way ! Ready ! Ready ! Ready ! Declares the Lord of hosts. Jeremiah 1 :11-12, Numbers 23 :19, Isaiah 55 :10-11, Habakkuk 2 :2-3. Same God, He does not change.

Why in Jesus name does EVERY single minister of the scriptures, black, white, messianic Jew, SCREAM their message like we’re all deaf???? He could be much more effective if he could dial it back maybe speak in a still, small, sincere voice. “Let your gentleness be evident to all”. Philippians 4:5 I’ll pick up the transcripts of this and read quietly to save myself the anxiety. Wowza!!!

Can God still use me . I am confused about calling and ministry . Do i need to follow a man of God, Go to school or bible school. What is the proof that God has called me and i also feel like all thats hapoening in my life is in Gods will and i dont want to waste time

can people reject a call from GOD? my opinion is if it were a call from GOD, people can not reject, he is almighty. his will can not be void. before he call us, he already know we will accept or reject his command because he is almighty.
