The fact that Peter commanded everyone to repent is not proof that they had the ability to repent. Repentance is given and granted [2Ti 2:25 NKJV] 25 in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God perhaps will GRANT them repentance, so that they may know the truth, [Act 5:31 NKJV] 31 "Him God has exalted to His right hand [to be] Prince and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins. [Rom 2:4 NKJV] 4 Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?
This is just some food for thought. The teaching is inspiring. I saw that Jacob used this first word of Gensis ברושית to describe his first born son. I think this is the subject of the book ~ the whole book. We immediately see the trinity. The Holy Spirit is brooding over the icy waters like an eagle over its nest..The Father gives the command, "Let there be Light." And Light springs forth. I believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth and in Jesus Christ, his only son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit... i think Light was conceived and brought forth on the first day. Is it possible that following that first act of creation, all things were created by him...and are of him. I have considered אלוהי מאת. I believe, but I don't yet understand.

A person only needs to repent from believing that its possible to stop sinning for salvation and trust that Jesus paid for all sin. Jesus set me free from habitual sin , definitely something I couldn't have done on my own and that came after I believed on the finish work of Jesus and was born again in the spirit .
Love your review of this fantastic Psalm. I've listened to the entire Psalm in Hebrew. Powerful! Thank you for this study. There's a lot of work you put into that. Love Charles Spurgeon's Treasury of David. To write commentaries and that review of the Psalms amid his preaching/pastoring...well, the guy didn't waste time for sure.
this can be broken down into practical daily living - if my wife says Joe, take out the trash, and I hear it - that's good, but if it's late night and the trash is not out, I might find myself out on the hammock, or in the patio or sharing room and board in the dog house. You get the picture, the wrath or a woman is bad - but the wrath of God can be worse. Another example may be your wife ask you to pick up something she needs or wants from the store or dept. store. Do you just hear it - or for the sake of your health and well-being, do you do it? I'll let you answer that one.

Let me provide a small summary of the versus for all of you. Matthew 19:8-9 KJV. 8 He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so. 9 And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery. Luke 16:18 18 Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband committeth adultery. 1 Corinthians 7:10-11 KJV 10 And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband: 11 But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife. Romans 7:1-2 KJV 7 Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth? 2 For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband. 1 Corinthians 7:27-28 (KJV) Art thou bound unto a wife? seek not to be loosed. Art thou loosed from a wife? seek not a wife. The divorce rate is rising in the Christian church partly because God’s children do not understand the covenant of marriage and false preachers allow divorce and re-marriage in the church. Unforgiving hard hearts. Please work of safe guarding and protecting your marriages at all costs. Repent, ask for forgiveness, pray for your spouse, reconcile and return to your first spouse. CALEB- no grumbling no lack of faith no lack of boldness no longing for the onions and leeks of Egypt He wanted to press on and take what the Lord wanted for him A Gentile-yup🫡

Surprisingly and sadly timeless truth. My family has half Jewish bg. When I pray for the nowaday Israel {and the church} I have to bring this ignorance (both: not hearing, nor doing) before the Heavenly father. Today the Hos 6:6 and Zech 10 are deeply forgotten - not to mention the luring 'christian' custom & culture which hinders Israel from the real repentance and God - seeking life. Jesus who's the Messiah says: go.... to every nations, the good news for every nations... The command refers to the original kingdom msg for Jewish, Greek, Muslim or Skyth... Unlike this 'modern', biased, religious way.
Im amazed at how many lessons can be taught through ONE story! Endless character development ,anyone who says the Bible is a boring book hasn't read Genesis :D
Why so many pastors yelling so much? They got a microphone so it isn’t to be heard. It is overkill and makes it so hard to listen to (for me, I know most don’t experience it like I do). But I think there is an issue with it you can think about even if you don’t have trouble with hearing it. Not trying to be mean or ridicule here. Just point out a way to improve.
