I plan on using this as a solo into adventure before a player joins the 'group', but honestly the scenario itself is pretty bad. But the idea is decent...so I plan to rework it. I see maybe 20% as usable. Just a few of the elements that just don't work are the 'egg' being an egg is too obvious, it being a transparent 'banana' just silly (to the point that it's funny), and in particular the idea that a Byakhee would act like this (the jetting to and fro, as mentioned already) and that it has maternal instincts makes the creature too natural and, well, un-scary. The story bears an uncanny similarity to the Fallout 4 quest 'The Devil's Due', though it makes more sense and is better done in the game. The worst part is the players have too much knowledge here, and at the same time almost no real agency...there is little for them to actually do other than be told where to go and be along for the ride. I plan to rework most of it, and am toying with the idea of having the player basically one step behind that story...a ticking clock will help give this story some interest. And give them clues to figure out instead of leading him around by the nose.

I had started translating a nd mapping out the scenario for use in my campaign, but the more time I spent with it, the sillier it has become. And most of the stuff I reacted to was the same as you point out in this video. There are a lot of elements I like, and, most of the different scenes I like by themselves. But the whole getting from one point to another is not great. And the Byakhee behaviour is weird, with the going back and forth to its home world. Also, I found the timing of events a bit unclear. In part of the text, it seems like the geologists and police are called the same day they find the eggs, but in other parts, it seems like they are called the day after.
