Ah, I remember the river scene, i didn't read the instructions properly was moving the joystick full clockwise instead of half clockwise, making me fail each time and swear at the Ai of the game XD
PFC Guzzo: Dix tell the sergeant that it could be a ambush up ahead! Sgt Mccullin: Dixon tell guzzo I don't want crap out of him! (Squad runs upstairs to the courtyard) Cpl Dixon: AMBUSH! PFC Guzzo: Told you! Cpl Dixon: SHUT UP GUZZO!! 😂😂😂😂😂
“OUTTA HERE! MOVE!” I remember the lack of voice lines lol Also this game and those before it need to be remastered. Keep the guns how they are but add a sprint thats marginally faster than walking so the left thumb stick has something to do.
Is it meant to be implied that Sergeant McMullin is suffering from acute combat stress reaction, which is why he stops responding to his squadmates and seemingly stares into space?
I remember having the most fun during this level. Shooting the wine barrells and hearing the Nebelwerfers fire were really the moments that stood out from the rest to me for some reason, the rowing section too. By the way, at 11:48, is that actually Nichols himself speaking?
Haha, couldn't agree more! In this case my mom would help me when I got in the tussle with the German and his Kar98K. I couldn't tap the "L1" and "R1" buttons quick enough at 6 years of age.😂 My dad would usually sit with us and cheer us on. Haha, good times.
9:43 As a kid I just couldn't keep-up with the rowing and didn't know how to. I always had to get my older brothers or dad to complete this part of the mission for me.
I wonder if that was a placeholder that got left in by accident, or if there might have originally been French resistance fighters in this mission that got cut.
Possibly. For the speculations if it was not an accident, there can be an allied boy soldier who lied about his age to enlist to the army, French female resistance fighter(English Dubbed), American Women's Auxiliary Army Corps(Instituted by the Congress in May, 1942), or even Russian women from the main Red Army yelling nearby the position.(This one is just a joke, this is the Western Front.)
I want you all to listen to that again really really closely. And if you tell me that's just an accent or a naturally high man's voice, I will throw you into the Fly of Despair from Spongebob Squarepants. MAYBE I'm just not able to perceive it the same way you can. That whole Yanny and Laurel thing proved some people hear the same audio differently than others. (BTW for those out of the loop, it was Yanny and Laurel both being said at the same time but at different pitches. Both were correct.)
At the end of the campaign, after the liberation of Paris, what if the war is not over yet allied forces continue to push forward to the heart of Germany in the west
What happened to Mcullen during this mission? He was hesitant when Dixion was asking how to attack, and not to sound dumb tho, at end from the shell blast, there was no blood on his back. I thought he survived that blast I mean no blood came out....
No, it was Dixon. You can tell from the accent, and the way it's heard. If it was Nichols speaking you'd hear it differently. Far Cry, and the black ops series do a good job of that.
When i was a 9 years old the boat side was my worst nightmare Because i cant understand what is RS mean. I guess it took me hundred times to finish the boat part
Nah, Guzzo was a real piece of work when you add him to the squad in the first mission. Dude whines at everything, refuses every order he's given, and even tries to desert at one point. Iirc he gets a redemption arc later in the game but yeah he was a shithead in the first half.
