All Ghillied Up is the best mission there has ever been in a Call of Duty game. Perfect pacing, perfect setting, perfect action, it was honestly a work of genius. This music adds a fantastic haunting ambiance to the level, immersing you in the stealthy menace of the task you are carrying out. I may not love everything Infinity Ward have done with their games, but this mission is, in my own humble opinion, flawless.
rtainc Why the f*ck do you have to reply like that? So what. It's no big deal. It's not pleasing to see a rectangle at the end of the sentence, but there is no point calling it out
The true Infinity Ward who created CoD 1, 2, 4 and MW2 left IW in 2010. The two main guys were fired by Activi$ion and the rest resigned in protest. They all came together at Respawn and made Titanfall 1 and 2.
carlos8gomez59 ikr! I went as far back as i could, kick as much of them as i could with my sniper, then I started using the pistol, and eventually the knife
I think that I prefer missions, where you shoot a lot, do something on time etc. It gets so intense then. But this mission has got one of the best climates and settings in the franchise.
thoose memories will never come back remastered version will be worse than originial one becaouse nothing can be comprared to this one that good memories :')
"Too much radiation, we'll have to go around." 0:01 "Get down now!" 2:17 "Looks like they've already eliminated the men they couldn't buy out" 4:15 "It's a bloody convention out there!" 6:15 "50,000 people used to live in this city...Now It's a ghost town..." 7:51
Michael De Santa Not the same. Even if they're apart of the same kingdom. It's like saying the New York accent is the same as the Montana accent. Or that because the Americans speak English, that they sound English.
That intense moment when you go prone into the grass when Cpt. MacMillan says "Get down! Now!" and those Ultranationalists walking just 5 ft. in front of you with those tanks. I literally had to pee the moment one of the guards almost stepped on me. The days without the space cat camos on your guns.
Even the remastered isn’t going to be the same as the original I got the platinum trophy and it was fun having to play this mission multiple times and it never gets old
Ikr that music used to be in multiplayer too and we never used to pay attention to it. And its so powerful that now when i listen to it, takes me back in time. The good old days.
2:20 Easy lad there's to many of them, keep a low profile and hold your fire, try to anticipate there paths, if you have to maneuver do it slow and steady no quick movements
+Andrew Hartnett Lets go, there's a truck coming we'll use it as cover keep moving. Just wait here a moment when they leave crawl out and stay low. Patience don't do anything stupid. Stand by, stand by ... Go!
@@WastedPotentiaI1 BO2 where a South American drug lord/criminal hacks American drones and orchestrates an invasion of the US? Are you kidding me? How old are you?
So many years later, and the whole Call of Duty franchise has yet to surpass the artistic genius that is this mission. They've come pretty close, but this particular portion of the campaign was so immersive and so strongly emotionally driven. I replayed this mission over and over, but the level is never quite as fun as the first time.
+Kettz I've played endless endless hours of STALKER: call of pripyat because i cant get enough of the chernobyl pripyat atmosphere. its just so beautiful and a thrill to play. i want to visit the location IRL someday
"Remember what I've taught you. Keep in mind variable humidity and wind speed along the bullet's flight path. At this distance you'll also have to take the Coriolis effect into account."
The only thing Im gonna say is that Im gonna miss the older CODs. Even if COD will die one day. Its still one of the most amazing games Ive ever played. Heart Breaker and Life Taker...forever.
At 9:04 when you're going through the abandoned school and seeing the vast empty area in front of the school where the helicopter flies over is one of the best sights to see in this mission, has such a fantastic atmosphere the entire way.
Never have I had my blood pumping like that in a video game. That badass feeling knowing that these suckers aren't even aware of your presence. Maaaamnn. Crazy .
Isn’t it amazing that one of the greatest missions in all of the COD series is one of the only missions that doesn’t require you to shoot everything on sight?
Does anybody else still get that feeling in their stomach? That intense/adrenaline feeling where when your in one of those buildings you feel alone despite the fact your with your team mate? Because I do
When I have my monolithic suppressor, bipod, 4x scout optic, 15 round mag and ADS speed stock with my all ghillied up ghillie suit on in MW2019 I tend to play this, do a Scottish accent and have a wild time my with my friends. It is awesome when people look in my direction and can't see a thing.
This really sets the atmosphere of Chernobyl, radiation, abandoned buildings a dark and gloomy environment it was like watching a movie. After I finished this game I was amazed by how good it was.
They tried so hard to recreate this mission in MW22, but failed at every regard. They don’t realise it wasn’t about making us feel like unstoppable war-machines, quipping jokes every ten seconds. It was about skulking your way through hostile territory, with even more hostile obstacles in it, using only your wits. You weren’t helpless, but you knew you were the little fish here. And this time, the pond is glowing. As for the music, they never even came close. Ask anyone to hum their favourite tune from any of the recent CoD games and they’ll come up blank.
Riiight, they could of essentially done an exact copy of this and I would not have cared but having to go against macmillans advice of seeing a room full of tangos felt weird😂
My god..... the nostalgia... I can remember, Christmas of 2007 my parents getting me this. The first time I played this mission was incredible, given I was young. If I could I would relive it 1000x over;D
TplatteVideos Same here dude. I remember the insane amount of joy I had when I first got this game. Now I’m 22, listening to this like damn if I could go back I would do it in a heartbeat.
My goodness, this was the game my dad used to play when i was 5-7 y.o. Music brings me back to that times and i cant even describe what I feel like. I mean, i remember the old area i used to live in, old friends... Music can do miracles and this theme is so nostalgic by itself cuz it was Cpt Price memories. But now its our memories from almost 15 years ago
When I played this mission I just wanted to cry I got into the building where the player hear the children in the background. I feel so bad for them…. Am I the only one that feel sad when they hear the scream of children at that level?
Yeah...though if I'm not mistaken, ain't the hotel they were staying at radiated, along with the place where Price shot his arm? (I don't remember the villain's name).
Martin Einarsen I can't give you an answer to why they were safe up there from the radiation.. the game just tells you to use the clicking noise and I guess the hotel was fine...
Yes those words. "Help" it's very chilling. It's also heard in the nuke level near the playground. Whenever I think of when Sgt Jackson falls over and dies and hears his daughter say "I love you, daddy.. NO!" The Same sounds are in this level too. Also sounds of children laughing. Very chilling.
Ah the good old days when Cod wasn't so bad. I remember playing Cod 4 on a Wii and it was still amazing. But now its all about the money to be made. Maybe one day we will all be cleansed of the darkness that envelopes the gaming industry and be brought upon a brighter era of games. Until that day comes or if it ever does, we will continue to watch as our beloved game developers start upon a path to their own destruction of incessant greed until there is nothing left of them. Let us pray that they redeem themselves.
The year is 2007, It's 2 AM, cold winter saturday night, you have no internet, you just unlocked this mission and a coffee nearby you. Life was good. -October 2021?
i've been playing warzone for arround a week and a half, played multiple times, never won. once i played with a friend for like de 20 th time. i put this ost on our discord server 2:20 while we sneak towards the safe zone, and then ran when the rush theme came 6:15. in the end i won the game for the first time, felt incredible, just wanted to share.
Call of Duty at its best. Its really sad to see that the guys who developed this game left infinity ward in 2010 after an argument with activision. I wonder what the last 2 iw cods would have been like if west and zampella had still been in charge. We probably wouldnt have had disasters like mw3 or ghosts.
Idc if this was posted 12 years ago, can someone tell me the name of the track that plays when u have to hit prone and dodge a search party with tanks?
I’m pretty sure that ambience is in the Multiplayer on console, I remember hearing it when I was playing in maps when I went back to the game for memories.
