“Our so called leaders, prostituded us to the west, destroyed our culture, our economists, our honor, our blood has been spilled on our soil, my blood, on their hands”
I came here to be absolutely crippled by nostalgia. This music reminds me of such a simple and easy time of my life, when everything was innocently beautiful. Precious times. This game was one of the best I have ever played.
"My father was a musician in Pripyat. During the Russian occupation, the sound of his violin filled the air with magnificent music - Korsakov, Stasov - many of the great nationalist composers. To my countrymen, it was a symbol of hope. To the SAS, it was a symbol of defiance. Even now, his music still haunts me. The SAS slit his throat while he slept. Collaborating with any TF141 is a betrayal, a betrayal against all of Mother Russia."
you see body bags lying on ground, hanged with blood, and people getting shot at, kids screaming, and baby cry, this is the world i visited in, and its worse
I fell in love with Harry Gregson-Williams s music just last year, but only now I’ve realised that I first heard his track back in 2008 when playing cod as a 6 years old! I remember being in love with game music, these tracks were the first pieces of music that I was able to recognise in my life! So it turns out that Harry is the first composer in my life! And I’ve realised it only now, 16 years later after hearing many other soundtracks he did for movies i like. Thanks Call of Duty for introducing me to HGW / Hans Zimmer/ Lorne Balfe. Shaped my music taste tremendously
