Complete with a background of Bog at 60fps!
This is the second ambient track in the game internally, and this is the one you probably remember the most. It most certainly is the case for me. It's nostalgic as hell, even though CoD4 is a day older than TF2.

Always felt that CoD4 had kind of a calming, soothing vibe to it. It will always be one of if not my favorite game of all time.

@Tier 3 infiltrator they got progressively worse. After Cod4 the only playable ones were WaW and the first Black Ops. I quit playing during MW2, it was so bad that I actually sold it. In an effort to make it more popular they made it more noob friendly, allowing too many guns with no recoil and less bullets to kill and dumb kill streaks. Gun skill no longer mattered anymore. Sincerely hope the guy that allowed those akimbo 1887 shotguns on MW2 to ever make it to the live server stubs his toe today lol.

@@tylermclean6352 I'm confused about this comment. So I don't at all enjoy any new cods today, and stopped playing years ago. Do you really think COD4's weapons were that diverse in skill? Because I sure don't. I remember most of them RELATIVELY the same with a few minor differences. The AK47 was my favorite. One of my fondest memories of this game I have from my childhood is seeing my friend with the Barret 50 Cal. I couldn't play that much because of school, and I'd always ask him to drop it for me so I could try it LOL.

Listening to this while you are 9 years old on a "Bloc" map with no players hits different.(actually relatable to any SAS vs Spetsnaz map)

I always tend to go back to cod 4 (now remastered cod 4 since my ps3 died) and just go on a private match, always bloc, and just walk around and reminisce the memories I had back when the game was populated. All my strategies, runs, and counters. Hell I’ve even dreamed about bloc and it’s the reason why I wanted to visit Chernobyl so bad (all ghillied up aside). Once the music hits in the private match in Bloc, it’s so perfect and nostalgia begins to rush in my mind and flood memories of the “good old days” in cod4. I really miss it. I don’t miss how my life was back then but damn playing this game helped me escape. Thank you Roman, it feels good knowing I wasn’t the only one who thought of Bloc first when they listen to this amazing work of art.

Hey man, thank you too for sharing your story. Yes, the first thing that comes to my mind when I hear this ambient is the bloc. There is actually more of it for me when I come back to cod4 in general. I remember being a kid, visiting my grandparents from Yamal. Some kind of childhood nostalgia, bc I played cod4 on my uncle's PC there. Just roaming around the multiplayer maps, listening to this ambient. Cod4 is more just a game for me, I guess it's a part of my childhood, it reminds me of good times. (sorry for any kind of grammatical errors, I'm not a native speaker)

there was honestly something about cod 4 and waw that no cod game can ever top it’s so soothing yet so creepy at the same time waw was terrifying especially when you go on a private match and explore the maps and listen to the odd ambiences it shows the horrors of war not saying mw2 and any-other game after were bad but these games were just amazing they’ll live on hopefully waw will be remastered

@Tom Clancy old video game fan correct! modern day companies rush developers to release games that aren’t even finished yet such as cold war and the gta remasters if cold war was delayed and released this year it would’ve been one of the best games in my opinion

It had a vision. It was a game of massive passion, despite what some believe. And it was based on real conflicts, and kept as down to earth as a blockbuster game could be. WaW was the last game in this franchise that was like this, the rest was of the games were more soulless than the last.

when i was a kid and had this game on my xbox i sadly never played multiplayer cuz i didn't know how to,so I'd always go in a private match (only me) and go around random maps and do random stuff,like shooting at objects,cars,tires and do a bit of exploring too.and i always remember that this soundtrack played in the match while i was alone,giving me more loneliness and melancholy.

even thought i dont play COD much anymore. i always remember this music the most next to world at war. it was the perfect ambient for the maps dark settings and for sneaking up on people

I once started a game on the map wet work by myself and listening to this while the thunder and lightning was going off gave it kind of a calming horror vide to it especially since I was alone on the ship

I remember going through the menus with this music on in the bg as you were sorting out your loadout, chatting to mates, setting up private games... such as ambience and eerieness to it, it was captivating. Nothing like a moody autumn/winter evening getting stuck into this game. Whilst the new games have obviously adapted with the times (and I don't think the new MW series, at least 2019, was that bad), the super duper intense epic drum trailer smash tone of the new games' music just doesn't hit the same.

The feelings I get from listening to this…I miss these days of my life so much man. The nostalgia attached to this song in particular is huge, brings back so many great memories from playing this when I was a kid with no stress or worries, pure happiness. Although it’s over, at least we got to experience it 😢.
