True that. MW series was badass, even if sometimes illogical. My personal favourite COD series, and I am not a big fan of COD but I consider the series as a classic.
Totally agree! As I was playing the campaign and this mission specifically, all I was thinking about was how related they were to older CODs, and couldn’t keep the childish grin off my face lol. I personally loved it. (It seems no one liked the multiplayer) which I more than understand. Like most I personally loved the campaign, but the multiplayer was nothing compared to older CODs but I had fun still with it. The story had a nostalgic feeling compared to the older CODS, which it clearly seems they were going for and this mission was a piece of nostalgia for me. Kevin Spacey was somehow also a good antagonist in this game, surprisingly. Also.....an even better one in real life unfortunately. What a sin that he really is a monster because he’s a great actor.
"He was right, it wasn't the end. It was only the beginning." 6 years later and still no sequel, the only game we got from Sledgehammer after was COD WW2. Add this to the list of games that promised more but never returned.
Hope you know he was found not guilty and the parents plus the kid are in jail for lying under oath and making everything up so they could get money from him.
1. If Will didn't die, then Mitchell wouldn't lose his left arm. The reason why Mitchell lose his left arm is because he was thrown down by Will, who was stuck in the aircraft and unable to escape. Unable to get up, Mitchell's left arm got hit by the aircraft's shrapnel. 2. If Will didn't die, then he will still be in service with the USMC alongside Mitchell, which means we'll never meet Gideon, Joker, and Ilona. 3. If Will didn't die, we'll definitely fight Atlas at some point. However, there's a possiblity that we will join Sentinel, just like Cormack
@@Arik33241 Maybe Irons wouldn’t have gone crazy, he probably still would as he still hates the government, but I think Will’s death pushed him over the edge. Fun fact: Irons isn’t the first antagonist driven by the loss of his family, Zakhaev launched nukes at the US over the death of his son, and Menendez wanted the world to burn over his sister
@@ashhabimran239 I'd say he planned to do what he was going to do nonetheless, even with or without Will's death. And he may have been pushed over by his son's death, but Irons was psycho even beforehand, I'm sure, and he still spat in the face of what Will gave his life for--- something he believed in.
This is such an epic last mission. This game was much better than the public said. Yes it had tons of issues but you say you don’t want the same game every year so they try something different. It’s not the best but I wouldn’t say it was the worst
@@tobe1207 If you think that's all that happened and why I would say this, I would ask you to read more on what happened. He made a sexual advance on a 14 year old, a dozen other people came forward with similar stories about his sexual misconduct, and then he is being investigated by the LA district attorney for Sexual Assault. Three other people also alleged he sexually assaulted him according to the Scotland Yard. If you think I would say he's a monster bc of him being attracted to the same sex/gender as himself, you're an absolute idiot. Love is Love and you can be attracted to whoever you want (as long as their of legal age). If you are even slightly attracted to a minor, you are a monster. End of story.
I don't care what people say this game and infinite warfare were fucking awesome, this ending to advanced warfare was sooo badass wearing those killer robot suits!!
From 14:00 to 14:30 Mitchell had the balls to chase after Irons and whack that armored assault soldier with his strength, and tackles Irons down without an Exo suit. Irons was right, we rely too much on the Exo suits instead of using our inner strength, Exo suits replicate human strength and abilities to make us stronger, but we’re stronger without them.
And remember what Hades said about technology being a cancer to society? Well, Mitchell proved something beyond his words. He managed to put an end to Irons, not by any means of Advanced Warfare, but through his own Human Strength.
Irons: There's only two choices. you either pull me up, or this whole building goes down and we go down with it! *as Jack wrestles him* Mitchell! What are you doing!? What are you doing, Mitchell?! I gave you that arm. Mitchell! I gave you a second chance. Jack: Well, I'm taking it back. *pulls out his knife* You said there's only two choices? WRONG. *slices his arm off* Irons: AAHH, MITCHELL! *falls to his death and is incinerated in a blaze of flame* That's what I imagine Jack was thinking before he sliced his arm off and sent Irons to his death.
Raiden: Too long have I allowed Earthrealm to endure the horrors of war. Time and again we've defeated our enemies. But we've exacted no retribution. Demanded no remuneration. What have we gained for our mercy? More intrigue. More senseless violence. As new rulers of the Netherrealm, heed me. No longer will I simply defend Earthrealm. I will seek out and destroy all who threaten it. No mercy will be shown. No quarter given. Shinnok was an Elder God. Impossible to kill. There are fates worse than death.
I was very disappointed by this ending, not because Irons dies, or how he dies, but because of how the events that led to his death unfolded. 1) if Irons never intended to kill Gideon or Mitchell then what was the point of him facing them in that small room to begin with? That whole scene was basically pointless. 2) Irons suddenly deciding to not kill Mitchell and Gideon when he has the chance and they can’t do anything about it is completely out of character. He’s already showed that he’s a man willing to do whatever it takes. He shot Cormack, shot the guy that knew about the attack so that the attack would go on, and both directly and indirectly (but consciously) killed civilians and innocent people. So him suddenly saying to the guy who, from his perspective, has betrayed him and plans to assassinate him that he’s not gonna kill him and that he’s “not a monster” makes no sense whatsoever. 3) You would think after all that that he had a plan to escape or something but no, he just runs away like a guy not knowing where to go and you just catch him and he then begs you not to kill him, literally seconds later 🤦🏻♂️ I really liked this game and I actually enjoyed the story but this ending felt really dumb and could have been done better imo.
