Did anyone else spam their trigger when Adler tried to shoot you?

the good ending really went like this bell: “i got it sir” adler: *”good thats one loose end.”*

Bell : Talks nicely to Park, saves her. Park starts to like Bell. Adler : *IT WAS NEVER PERSONAL*

When he said “it was never persanal” I knew damn well I was boutta get shot

Adler: It was never personal. Me, replaying the last mission: ...and I took that personally.

Adler pulling a Sheperd was kind of expected and unexpected at the same time

me: fully understands the whole campaign also me: *watches an ending explained video*

I felt betrayed when Adler in the "good" ending pulls a gun on you in the end, I replayed it and felt so pumped when Perseus said something like "ready for some revenge comrade?"

When Adler said to Sims get the dosages ready I was like oh what a nice guy treating me when I'm wounded

“The president himself Ronald Raygun”

Adler: „You’re a goddamn Hero, kid!“ *proceeds to shoot Bell*

Was I the only one that choose the “good” ending then saw that at the end Adler shoots you then went back and choose the ending where you kill them all?

My Theory is that Woods didn’t want Bell to slip out that incident at the arcade

Imagin victor reznov came out of nowhere and went "NOBODY DIES TODAY" it would be funny

Despite the length, I truly think this campaign is fantastic filled with great moments, references, easter eggs and parallels to the original game which I feel flew over many people's heads

DO NOT TRUST ADLER, I REPEAT, DO NOT TRUST ADLER “we got the nukes sir” Adler: Good , that’s one less loose ends

I honestly think Adler will be the next villain in the next black ops game. Would make sense with this ending and could take the story a whole lot more deeper and explain why he isn't in bo2 if you end up killing him in the next game as Mason or Woods.

That person isn't perseus, that's anatoly makarov. That is vladimir makarov's father. Zakhaev was his personnel inside kgb. Makes you wonder the extent to where they go, doesn't it?

I’ve already seen tons of videos on this, but I personally like to think that Bell survived the headshot. He, the persona of “Bell”, dies but he manages to cling to life, albeit as an amnesiac. Warsaw Pact reinforcements arrive during the aftermath of Solevetsky and, seeing a promising candidate for brainwashing, implant memories to construct the “Stone” personality in multiplayer. I know it’s cliche, but it helps me to look at the ending more positively.

plot twist: When Adler and Bell shoot each other, they were using blanks and all treyarch producers are gonna be taking the piss on PrankInvasion

Theory: Adler tried to shoot Bell because he’s a part of Perseus and Adler thinks Bell will turn on them in the future and continue Perseus.

Adler: Did we stopped the nukes? Bell: We did it sir! Adler: *Good, that's one less loose end.*

When it said “punch zakhaev” I’ve never pressed a button so hard.

I’m actually very unsatisfied with the campaign endings. You really lose either way if you think about. The good ending is when you save Europe and save the day but you still get turned on by ur own team. Even when you turn on Perseus for the sake of millions of lives you still find a knife on your back. When you lie to Adler without telling Perseus, you still die along with millions of other people and possibly caused a world war. And when you lie to Adler and tell Perseus, Yeah it feels good to kill Adler, but what did it cost? Not only did you kill millions of innocent people and potentially cause a world war. But you also kill Woods and Mason, the characters that U loved since you were 10 years old, like they were just regular enemies in a normal mission. It really bothers me that the campaign was designed in a way that no matter what you do, you still lose. This campaign is the perfect example of “You either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain.” But not in a satisfying way at all. In a way, I felt cheated, But non the less; I still think it’s a great game.

The second ending where the nukes go off, would fit perfect with COD-Ghosts

What if that standoff is actually a memory of Adler turning on someone else and Bell is replaying it in their head? If Adler can give a memory of his to someone else that makes them see it from outside of his perspective, then perhaps Bell can see that happening in Alaska. I mean, why would Adler honestly go thru the trouble of finding Bell in the rubble after the attack and not kill him while he's vulnerable, just to kill him later when he is armed? And don't anyone say Alder has ethics. He brainwashed someone to think they were someone else.

when adler shoots me at the end it has different speech before he shoots he says "you have to make another sacrifise" who else had that

I’m surprised Mason was so willing to go along with this BS considering what happened to him. You’d think he’d be more sympathetic or angry about the situation

Imagine call of duty releasing a cutscene that shows what happens after they shoot each other

This is why I love Black Ops 1,2 and Cold War. Love the story telling behind all of this.

When Adler shot bell I called Adler all types of bitches and hoes. Then I refused to play Adler in multiplayer for two weeks because I went on a personal mission to kill every Adler player repeatedly like I only hunted down Adler players. This story got me in my feelings.

When you’re in the warehouse you can ask Adler how he got the scars and he says , “The girl wasn’t worth it.”Also, he says he fell in with bad people so I don’t know if he lying about the scars or not.

Watch, next Black Ops will have to do with something having Bell survive and he will either be the protagonist to have to kill an evil Adler or you will end up as Mason or Woods hunting down Bell who survived.

Not gonna lie, even though I haven't played all the black ops games yet, this was a really good one campaign wise. The story really had me absolutely loving the game lol

I think Adler had Bell killed in the end is when he makes the statement, “It isn’t personal” it’s obvious he was following orders, my guess is that Woods had Bell killed since Woods didn’t want anyone else to know what happened at the shooting range.

Adler's secret is that he once "experimented" with a friend at summer camp.

If you go to Warsaw pact operators you can see Stone has the exact same gear as Bell, so that could mean that Bell is still alive. So i think Harry Stone is Bell.

Actually, the “bad ending” where the nukes are detonated isn’t cannon. One of the maps takes place in Berlin

Adler is one of those characters that doesn't need any background story, or any information that tells us where did he came out, his own presence and his personality makes him a great character

But Bell is also in multiplayer , I’m sure that Stone and Bell are the same person and it’s connected to the story. The Cold War story reflects the black ops story , as Stone and Bell. Stone is former sas unit and now he works for soviets and Bell is former soviet/Perseus unit and now he works for NATO

I saw another post where they said that another theory is that since Bell was a sleeper agent of sorts, he could always remember something, and was at a constant risk of turning on people even though he turned for the good. One trigger word, or something could set Bell off and it was always a risk to keep him alive.

When you name Bell after yourself, you feel emotionally attached to the character That is why I hate Adler but I dont regret making Bell a good guy

I have a bit if a conspiracy theory but its a stretch: Both Bell and Adler survived, as said Adler is alive bc of the MP but take a look at the hand and arm of bell, it matches the hand and arm of the Russian Operator in the ski mask (side note, the mask and glove are the same material as bells). I believe that Adler shoot bell left him for dead but forgot to take some coms gear off of him, and, using the same channel in the bad/evil endings came back to the russian side. just a thought

Cold War was the best cod campaign I have ever played. So much more interactive and its almost like a telltale game where u choose different paths

in the door mission when they showed a bunch of adlers and a lazar running was creepy as hell
