I love the original Woods VA talking being angry. Not that i enjoy his anger like some troll or fanboy hating on him, he manages to still talk like woods even when being himself and thats why i love it

I got goosebumps at the old characters getting heated at each other scene. It was so believeable for all those characters to react the way they did they FEEL like the characters even if they don't sound like them

This is one of the best cods in a while, the story is honestly really fucking good and i know theres no cod for 2023 but i want to see a cold war 2

This is the only cod I’ve played thoroughly and I’ve enjoyed all of it. I can’t believe how much content was put into this game, I was under the impression that cod games don’t have much effort into their games because of yearly releases/ easy money. I loved the campaign, I know people hate multiplayer, but I do like the competitiveness/ sweatiness. I really enjoyed playing zombies and I was happy to see zombies maps being added overtime. Overall I like this game and I don’t understand why people wouldn’t like it. I mean I can see why people wouldn’t like multiplayer but other than that I think it’s a pretty solid game.

I whole heartedly agree about “this game isn’t bad it just have a lot of bad problems” and I hope Treyarch can fix it

You know what’s cool? Detective work. I really hope they implement it in future games. I love the idea that certain missions are hidden or unlocked by combinations of evidence examined/notes taken. Maybe a notebook or poster board mechanic that lets you compile and connect your evidence on your own so they game knows when to unlock what missions? And if they trickle this all the way down the game could have like 50 alternate endings.

This still stacks up as one of my favorite cods in the series. The campaign had an amazing story with cool new mechanics and the return of branching storylines,zombies was one of the best iterations I've seen,and although a bit devisive with a fucked sbmm system,the multi-player was fun(at times) too.

One thing I see under appreciated is the quality and detail of small objects, everything I would walk up to in the campaign was so crisp and clear, not once did I see a blurry object, I really wish this game got the flowers it deserves for doing something totally different and unique. Hopefully the sequel does things better.

Cod Cold War is hands down the best cod in the last decade. More fun in multiplayer then I’ve had since BF1

Black ops biggest issue imo was they were never fully committed to their cool ideas. Shit like side missions and choices effecting the plot they are always too afraid to go full swing at it

I actually love this game, first game after mw3 that i can spent hours and hours on it without getting bored. The campaign is great imo…the multiplayer has the nostalgic feeling of bo 1 and 2 mixed…I think that this game will have a great value after 4-5 years od its release. Its ageing like a fine wine so far

I recently found your channel and I've learned so much of the CoD franchise. I've never really played any those games, but your videos made emotionally invested for the players who do lol.

This was an AMAZING game. The campaign and the multiplayer were great and I could play it for days on end even now after the failure that vanguard is. The only thing I didn’t like was the lack of original voice actors that would have taken the story to the next level.

I played this game a few months ago and not one oopsie happened with any glitching or crashing. Very fun game, love the setting, love love love the code cracking, wish i could pick and customize weapons to take on missions tho, that would complete the feel for me

----Spoilers ahead---- when my dad walked into my room when playing the campaign he said alder was not good news, then 5 minutes later I got shot by alder. I should've listened to my dad.

Imo, Juggernog and Stamin-up being Crutch Perks in zombies literally does not matter when you can have EVERY Perk. The main problem, at least to me, is that a crutch perk meant you could have less variety, because you were ALWAYS gonna take that perk, so in reality with Juggernog, it felt like you had 250 health and only 3 perk slots. But, if there is no perk limit, It doesn't really matter, and I absolutely love it.

Nearly 2 years later I still come back to this video due to how problematic sbmm really is and it still is today. Seriously just bring back ranking based matchmaking it ain't perfect, but it's way better than having Niagara falls dripping everywhere.

They have yet to fix the manual zoom scope on my M60 since day one. It glitches when you zoom in or out. They have random lobby errors all the damn time and visual glitches at times too. Even the menu is poorly optimized on the One X it runs at 13fps at times or lower. 32:20 oh I've dealt with that scope bug too so many times.

First time fighting zombies in this campaign scared the hell out of me. Different from BO3 since it's not forced upon you

i've watch most of your call of duty reviews, and strangely enough, im getting inspiration to make a fantasy shooter game with multiple modes, a survival mode [inspired by zombies] but more on the style of Left of dead, where the character must work together to accomplish certain objectives a quick match up, for casual ranked [for people who like that, i dont] 2 types of race modes, one with vehicles and one without vehicles. but with ramdom guns and minimal although i feel i bit divided, because the original idea was going to be a shooter with enfasis in movement and options, each character could choose up to two abilities betwen, wall jump[+ extra speed], climbing and wall walking, a grappling hook, a shield with knock back that can be used to make high and long jumps backwards, a mine that can also be used as a teleporter, a drone that make the illusion of your character moving while turning you invisible [for scouting], parrying bullets [with a tight active frame] all those option would also include a second jump and small dash. i know it sound complitly oposite of what you like about COD but thats kinda the point, but the more i think about the idea, the less appealing it would see for a casual players. which make me question if my idea is worth making? the things your video mostly inspired are level design, weapon, and features most player wouldnt even notice, like sound design, UI, extra perks, modification to weapon, although i still would make them on fantasy setting, its all valuable

Got it during MW2 reboot's final legs before the launch of the mess it was MW3 reboot (that you already talked about) and I LOVED it; They fixed the cutscenes and other glitches and bugs so I didn't saw them in my playthrough. The choices actually change the plot, even if a bit superficially, and aren't a dumb single question that leads nowhere like in MW3 reboot; Multiplayer is still a bit iffy, but Zombies besides a bit of a snag with Outbreak is pretty good. Heck even the Warzone story line was pretty nice... sadly it led to a deranged WW2 Vet telling stuff like Godzilla and the mess it's the CoD Mobile plot when we got to Vanguard, but the resolution to Adler's vendetta against Perseus (with a nice nod to Rebirth Island from BO1) was good; Another good thing is that the plot for it actually brought it a lot more to Multiplayer maps, unlike every other game set from the MW reboot onwards that makes the plot revolve entirely around the Warzone map; Also Mauer der Toten makes me wonder why they got Zombies perfect on this one, to drop the ball in Vanguard and MW3 Zombies.

I beat the entire Cold War campaign in one sitting because of how good it was.

i really liked cold war and still do. i loved the campaign and zombies but im not a fan of multiplayer but i am really excited to see what treyarch will be able to accomplish with the time they have now. really hyped they confirmed their next game will have a 2 year life span

the only real issue I've taken with the game was the seasonal prestige stuff. I got to a somewhat high level, then life happens and I didn't touch the game for a few months. I got back on today to see my rank had been reset. I had no idea what seasonal prestige was until I looked it up. Apparently it'll be on MW2 as well, which makes me upset that I already pre-ordered it alongside racking up some double XP. Ranking up in the game feels pointless if it's just gonna be reset every so often

i think the best part about this game is the pre-release. RU-vidrs like Noah-J actually got care packages with clues and pieces of evidence kitted out in a cold war/old military style and they had to do an ARG with the physical items and did it on a stream along with their audience to help them out with solving the clues and puzzles with the care packages and an ACTUAL FILM REEL to get more information about the game. honestly wish they did this stuff more and hopefully if we get that gulf war game next year. theyll do somthing like that again

the final note aged like fine milk, looking at the mess mw3 is right now. be happy you only crashed about 20x in total, i can top this number each week. with an only 45min zombie timer, making me rush everything without giving myself time to apreciate anything, it feels super frustrating to crash half an hour into the game loosing everything and starting literally with an fresh account. equipment, loot, everything is lost once you "die".

i genuinely don't understand how Burger Town from the campaign wasn't converted into a multiplayer map. That map would've been the best at launch and one of the coolest maps we have ever had. What a shame.
