@@localextremist2839 it only saw service in 1951 because .280 British round was weak and EM-2 couldn't adapt to 7.62×51mm NATO rounds. And due to NATO agreement, guns made by NATO countries should use NATO rounds, and you get the point....
They actually the the em2 vary wrong with the way it works because the real weapon is a heavy hitting burst or semi only gun it does not actually have full auto and the sight is upside down
It does have full auto (look up the forgotten weapons on it), but it is much simpler in its design than it’s made out to be here. It is high-powered (though not as powerful as 7.62 battle rifles such as the G3) among assault rifles, firing the .280 British round.
