This video shows comparison of all reload animations of all weapon currently available in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered (2020) vs original Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2009).
2012: Modern Warfare 3 is a copy paste of MW2. Same Call of Duty every year, cash grab. 2019: EWWWW. The new Modern Warfare Doens't feel like Call of Duty anymore, I miss MW3 days... 2020: EWWWWWWW Cold War doesn't feel like MW, a clear downgrade, I ill not buy it... *Cod Community*
@@CERRYGREENBAY Honestly, it's a game. There's been this sudden thing with people having a hard on for looking for trigger discipline. If there is none then they screech.
Well, I have to say, the original graphics are actually quite good. Obviously the remaster the better, but to be truthful, the original kinda still stands up to the remaster.
It's interesting how for some guns they added trigger discipline, some they forgot entirely, and even on some cases, they actually took away the trigger discipline that were already there in the original game.
The grinding sounds of the OG mw2 weapons like the mags sliding out are so surreal to listen to nowadays like on the usp when you use the slide release it is such an iconic sound. That just made you feel like there was absolutely ZERO lubrication on these weapons Even then the modeling done on these things have clearly improved, I'm super satisfied with the shorter Glock and the wider M9 but they just look how I would remember the game. How it feels vs how it looks or sounds is totally different. That's the point of a remaster, no? It reimagines the concept and makes it look how it felt when you remember back to it. Like the Glocks look way different in both games but when I remembered using them it looks just like the remaster. Probably nostalgia glasses and all but you know what I mean right?
Well, it's no different then how MW2 when you first laid eyes on it looks "worse" with better graphical technology, but before it looked amazing. You're getting used to it.
I honestly found it to be more realistic. I mean Think about some of the animations in cod waw. For example, certain snipers depending on which you use have more than two reloading animations. If you have no scope, you insert a stripper clip. If you do have a scope, you reload it like a shotgun putting in one round at a time. So when I look at it from that perspective I'm saying wait a minute, the evolution of animations are becoming more realistic than what we've been seeing in other games.
Gta community: are you guys even getting remasters? Seriously the only """""remaster""""" we got was gta san andreas for the ps3/360 and that game made the original ps2 version look next gen
@@nj828 at least y'all got an unnamed remaster for the gta5 next gen version. Dark souls remastered was the normal game with a 60fps mod applied overtop...
I hated how the shotguns in the original modern warfare 2 was not loaded when did a dry reload. Like with the m1014. The remaster fixes so much that was wrong with originals
I got way too many favorites. Like the RPD, all of the shotguns, AK-47, M4A1, MP5K, M240, Barrett, Intervention like I said way too many favorites😂. They were just chefs kiss bro.
There seems to be three types of reload: - They pretty much did it exactly the same, don’t fix what ain’t broke! - Ohh cool, it’s a reimagining with a slightly different flourish, I can dig it - NOOOO WHAT HAVE YOU DONE, THIS LOOKS AND FEELS WRONG, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE I wish there was less of the third one. Thank you for an excellent compilation.
Some of the animations feel like they lost the spirit of the originals. Some look great.. Others like the UMP, Spas 12, Deagle, etc just dont do it for me
i find myself a bit more love into the remaster than the original reload as the revolver just imo just look cooler & a bit flashy to me while original, still amazing but not much close to be cool tbh which is pretty odd as some of these animation are just a bit different but i really find it more appealing than original with the animation
"JUST SWITCH TO YOUR OTHER WEAPON! IT'S FASTER THAN RELOADING!" But truthfully i love the new reload animations, especially the SPAS-12 how it places one in the cylinder & the rest underneath
I’m still amazed how much of a chad the soldier is for wielding an m240 or barret like they are m4s and just casually reloading them from the shoulder. Carried a 240 a bunch in the Army. It’s longer than some people who carry it and few have the strength to shoulder the weapon for a decent amount of time
No one notice they fix the pump with all the pump shotguns? Original when you got a shell in the chamber and reload the tube he still pumps the gun which would actually make the unshot shell in the chamber eject, and man did that shit drive me crazy back then, and they fixed it hell ya 👍🏻
I am an old COD veteran like the others here, and I do agree to some extent. I really miss these versions of reload animation. The new ones (I've never played any of the currents) with the sound and animations are nice n all, but personally I love these more than the new ones.
Well I wouldn’t say “right”. There are several ways to load the Spas-12 and both are infact correct. Except that he pumps it again after a Tactical reload in the original, of course.
@@oceanside9508 nah you’re wrong lol. Gotta hit the release to reload it. The Spas in this game is wrong anyway because it’s on its pump action mode instead of semi auto. Pump action mode is made for bean bags or non-lethal rounds that don’t have enough bang behind them to cycle the bolt back so you have to manually pump it. However, when using 12G rounds you should utilize the semi auto feature
My take on the following categories: Sound: MW2 not just for nostalgia but also for sounding great for the heat of the moment. Animation: Remastered for how detailed, (mostly) realistic, and crisp they are. Modeling: Remastered since comparing them to the old models, well the old ones look like they’ve been dumped in acid and brushed with steel wool compared to the new ones in my eyes.
Weird how the details and sounds range from great to god awful. Idk wtf they were thinking with the audio for the AUG reload, and you can still see the catch recess in the magazine for the ACR....
Just a great remaster. They really made the game look different. IW’s animation team knows how to make the game feel awesome. The famas shares the same reload sound with the FFAR from Bo3
Her, in the few moments as she breathes her last: “Will you always remember the way I say I love you”? Me: *Modern Warfare 2 (2009) reload sounds all weapons*
I'm glad they changed up most of the animations. It's a real breath of fresh air, especially since some of the old animations were reused in lots of other CoDs.
Yeah, except most of the new animations aren't remotely on par in terms of quality with IW's old work. The MP5K, UMP, and M82 are perfect examples of this. Many of the reused animations also have unnecessary edits that ruin the overall quality because of how easy it is to tell where the original work ends and the edit starts.
@@fpsftw Not to mention the abysmal reload of the magnum. The original was just perfect. The remasters reload of the magnum would make a revolver owner slap you.
Fun fact: For some of the guns in MW2 remastered, they used Black Ops reloading sounds for example, with the Famas they used the reload sound of the FFAR from Black Ops 3
Who else thought back then that the scotch tape on the FAMAS (6:22) was a zebra camo and then realized someone just threw a bunch of tape on the damn thing after seeing the higher quality model in the remaster.
I like some of the old reloads better like the UMP and Vector but the remastered RPD is bomb. I like how the remastered sounds make all the guns more playable...
Would be cool if you pointed the gun down towards the ground to show more of the weapon models. Pointing up towards the sky reduces the field of view on weapons. Just a heads up.
I enjoy this game not only because it looks graphically better, but I'm actually able to play it properly cuz I got the OG when i was 7, got bored cuz i was bad, never played it again, and what happens 5 years later (2014)? Boom, remaster
