The midnight release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 at GameStop is upon us and Collect&Reflect is here to document the event and let you all join in on the fun from home. Midnight releases just aren't the same anymore. Last midnight release i went to was the master Chief collection on xbox one. The magic is gone 😢

I have my video of the midnight launch, for mw3 only 6 people came to the event. I posted it on my twitter I was bummed. Been going to these since 2007 till now. Even though I play on PC mainly but still buy them for PlayStation and Xbox

If you get it through GameStop can you get the steelbook and vault edition?

The vault edition is unfortunately only for digital purchases. So if you want the physical copy and the steelbook you can’t also upgrade to the Vault edition.

I don't go to Gamestop anymore for midnight releases. This video kind of proves it. Barely no one in the store, no big promo posters or hype advertising or countdown timer for the launch. Also the store doesn't seem to focus on games as much, mostly pop figures, plushies, shirts, and other dumb toys rather than good games. I miss being able to buy used DS and GBA games for example. But those have faded away too. There's no more midnight launches, now it's just stay home and download the shit two days before it comes out, and then stop playing after a week anyway..
