@@CreepingDeath_ 40fps drops make the game slow motion. Wish we could have the option to cap it at 40 or even 30 that's better than 60 with 30 to 40 fps drops because they make the game feel slow mo
Modern Warfare runs unbelievably smooth on my Series S, I had the One X before and it's almost night and day. I love it so far. Keep up the good work on the videos!
Yeah the Series S may be a tad more blurry than the X but the lighting and shadows are what makes the games look amazing on the SS. Light and shadow really catch the eye, making things look more real.
Yeah, I'm enjoying it on xbox one s too. But might get the series s for the future and so I can play wz with my little bro. Then we can play in the same room on 2 differing consoles. Wifi might suck but whatevs
u are capping so fucking bad. i've been playing on my xbox one s for a year now on warzone, and the graphics, fps, blurry range just rages me out of the game everytime... bro i wish i could be rich.. ill be flexing hard :D
Thank for the comparison! I would love to see a One X vs Series X at 2k 120fps. I really like WZ on the One X on my 32" 2k monitor at 120fps so I will just wait for the inventory to calm down before trying too hard to ge tthe Series X.
@@iammiky No he doesnt, the game still caps at 60fps. The screen is just refreshing 120 times a second. Better input lag more responsiveness s all you get .
@@ultimategohan1551 I’m surprised at how many people don’t understand this... however , the series x is running between 100 and 120 on my monitor. They must’ve added it when Cold War launched. It’s super smooth
From what i see..Not worth the upgrade..if you have Xbox One X...doesn't justify the price and performance..from the Xbox One X... Load times.....big deal..i can wait 10 secs...I'll keep my Xbox One X....
@@rballadarez I'm not saying I won't.. I'm just saying that I don't see any reason to...I got 4k tv.. and I'm satisfied with my Xbox one X... until I really see a reason to do it.. like better games.. etc etc.. then I will.. in the meantime.. save your 💰
Wait one year for a new series x model or two years. Or wait for a pricedrop to 300 dollars. The xbox one x is stronger then the series s. Only the loading times are faster because he has no sdd. When you got an xbox one x you can Upgrade to the series x but idk. I still playing with my xbox one x and waiting.
@@DAGGIII I know I am late but the one x gpu is build upon GCN architecture and the series s is build upon rdna2 architecture and each teraflop of rdna2 is 25% faster than 1 GCN teraflop.
This is absolutely the best comparison video I have ever seen, thanks so much for doing this. I have an Xbox One X and just bought the Series S. Trying to decide which to use in my main setup for Warzone, and which to put in my gym (I like to play some casual games inbetween sets of heavy lifts) For now, I will stick to the One X in my main setup, for the higher resolution, and use the Series S in my gym, since the framerate is capped at 60 on both. If they update the Series S version of Warzone to allow for higher framerates (the SS is supposed to be capable of 1440p@120fps), I'll swap them around. Frames > resolution for fast paced shooters like this, IMO. EDIT: apparently the Series S actually has uncapped frames in Warzone now, well over 100 fps, but the resolution goes to shit when you do this. Hmmm
Should have saved that money for the Series X imo. Xbox One X can go up to 120 frames, takes disks, and can play games at 4k if you want things to look pretty. Only upside to the series s is that it can play next generation games which aren't even out yet.
@@sonofgodraj I wanted a 2nd Xbox so I could have one in my gym, the Series S is perfect for that because of it's super small size. The Series X is an ugly monolith that would not work with either of my setups (it looks terrible on it's side), and like you said there are no games that require it yet, so my One X is still perfectly viable for my main setup. I will wait a couple of years until they rebuild the Series X into a slimmer model (as they have done every generation), then I will get that to replace the One X as it will have aged more by then. Price is not an issue, so "wasted money" is not a concern to me. Although the super low cost of the Series S is pretty nice, given that it's for an auxiliary setup that I will only use occasionally. Also, I did not have a single game on disk last generation, so I certainly won't this generation either. The disk drive is just a waste of space to me.
The S is based on the One S version via BC and The X is based on One X. Via BC you get max x and y axis for resolution (1920x1080 and 3840x2160 respectively) 16x AF along with higher fps on average and faster loading times. Really goes to show just how powerful BC is on Xbox, the game feels like it’s not BC but rather native software.
@@emissary44 One S and Series S IS not same version, you can saw much less grass details and Blurry image on One S but Series S is Series X on 1080P, so you Said the truth
@@javierlandaverde4108 are you slow, this is a game optimized for SX and locked at 60Fps, wait until we actually get games purely for next gen. Goes to show you know nothing of what you talk about.
You should! The heavy hitters won't be coming out until next year and you know that there will be a ton of updates with all the beta testers running out to buy next gen. One X is still a beast and I would put it above the SS. I'll do the transfer next year once the real games come out and I'll do a trade-in to cut down the price.
Exactly...Me too..if you can tell the difference between the Xbox One X...to the New Series X...go for it..I don't' see it... People will say load times...I can wait 10 seconds....that don't justify spending that kind of money..on top of that..they have No good games at Launch... I'll keep my Xbox One X....
Is the Xbox one S almost performs the same as the regular Xbox one? I had the S(2016) up until now and I can see the differences when your seeing things in the distance
@@eyesgotshowyo7800 you are absolutely wrong. series s uses the same cpu as the series x just running at 200mhz lower. the xbox one series has a terrible cpu but decent gpu
You should do a side by side comparison between xbox one x and xbox series s with fps and both running 1080p and 1440p, I really wanna see that please 🙏
Xbox series S is using the xbox One S version only with a textures patch, xbox series S is more powerful than xbox One X because 4 teraflops RDNA 2 is better than 6 teraflops GCN architecture of xbox One X
Keep telling folks not to sleep on the One X. It is a great system to hold on to for another year once the next gen systems put out true next gen games that is specifically built for that system. No rush to get them with so many titles coming out on all platforms AND it allows for the next gen consoles to work out glitches and all the other launch issues. Let the other guys be beta testers and buy the system next year.
Cold war has support for that on all the consoles but modern warefare as of now only gives that for pc. I bet they will add it to console soon atleast for next gen only
@@sophia7750 series s can go up to 120 fps lol and xbox one x can bearly mantain 60 fps it drops to 45-50 in real warzone match(in this video is practice matches with no players) so yeah xbox one x is no where good as series x.. the only thing xbox one x does better is the resolution because xbox series s is not created for 4k gaming is created for lower and for high fps
@@ArjanTV dude the xbox one x can 120fps on 4k and is almost better then the series s. Xbox one x got 6tflops. The series s got 4 tflops. The only thing where the series s is better are the loading times because he got an ssd. In every other way the xbox one x is better then the series s.
