this is really what i was going for. a slow decay . A cocktail of terror, pain and melancholy, knowing that you are powerless, and that everyobe you know, (your comrades, family, community) will be taken from you indefinitely. but ending with a sense of relief and surrender, knowing that there is no more for you to do, and you can finally let go and blissfully detach from everything you once held dear. Although I feel like I could've made a much better version of this now since I have a greater understanding of how audacity works but I just kinda forget about this project until your comment lol.
@@Nachomoney7q yeah sure, I could do that. I'm also planning on doing some zombies and mw2 soundtracks, specifically 'Of Their Own Accord' since that would be perfect for this.
as another commenter said, “The sounds of death” this is all inspiring terror. yet at the same strangely calming. i feel like im on death’s doors yet unable to enter, with the slain dead calling me to enter and join them. EDIT: you can tell this was clearly thought out with love and care on the pace of the song.
You know, this reminds me of kind of something that you here in a creepypasta game, like a fanmade one I remember messing around with videos and I combined twinkle little star from the first dead space and the DialUp sound from AOL 700% slower I got that last one from sonic EXE versions 5 and 7 with sonics level long story short it always kept me goosebumps and the chills every time I heard it it sounds like something post apocalyptic or something you hear in space
And I remember dumb ass me playing this game when i was 8 years old. I remember playing in zombie mode, but never in solo lmao, i was too fuck*ng scared. So I always played with randoms, and we were all scared anyways ahah, the whole team was basically upstairs, we were trying to reunite our strenghts, but of course in vain.
Hey y'all this is my first attempt at an ambient mix so feedback is greatly appreciated! I'm probably gonna upload an improved version of this piece once I figure out how to properly use audacity.
Even more horrifying for those who know German, as the woman sings: “Brave soldiers. Brave soldiers. Die with me. Die with me. Die with me! Brave soldier!”
I've been learning German for about 5 years now. I never noticed that she was saying that until you pointed it out that she was actually speaking and not just vocalizing like I thought she was. Listening to it at normal speed where I can hear her makes it 100% more bone-chilling and it gave me goose bumps.
Call of duty: ww1 will always have a special place in my heart due to that this was the first game I have ever played with my big brother (was even introduced to zombies at the time)
