I want mini map when you drive

Better fish animations, third person view when driving or boating. Camera angle not to move when you position your rod left or right. Removal of fish just floating on top of the water. Removal of black screen when you catch a fish( should be animations and cut scenes of pulling fish out of water and holding it up and then also releasing the fish. Graphics have a sharpening effect which makes them look bad, would be nice to see that removed. And performance could be improved also. Game has a lot of potential, hopefully they don’t just add DLC and other tweaks, but that they actually add some animations and cutscenes as well as the some graphical and camera view updates.

i would love to see trolling, saltwater fishing, and rodstands added

I fish for Lake Trout in real life. They really do react very aggressively at first, and we normally fish with heavy braid tied to a 10" steel leader to protect the braid from their teeth. I like jig for them, but also fish with suckerfish as bait when I can't borrow a boat.

We need ice fishing! It's such an untapped market

i fish for northern pike IRL (minnesota). your comment about them striking fast and not just following slowly is spot on. oftentimes i will throw a big spinner bait in front of some lilypads, and one will dart out extremely fast and just hammer the lure. they also have extremely sharp teeth that cut through line, and so anglers will often tie on a steel leader to prevent that. it would be cool to see additions like that to the game. but yeah, my two most productive methods for catching northern IRL is big spinnerbaits in shallow water near vegetation, and topwater frogs along the bank and hard cover (fallen trees, brush piles, etc). nice guide buddy. but in april 2023, there is no chance to get the /0-hooks to working. even other lures dont work. the rods are very bad balanced. its ashame,, because the game is nice.

I am a huge salt water fisherman in Southern California. We have an insane fishery in lagoons and off the coast. Would be rad if you can fish in the lagoons or off the beach then hop on a boat and go offshore to catch tuna. Have some code so the tuna actually swim in big schools and come up on bait fish so you can throw poppers or jiggs on them or just troll. Also we have kelps with Dorado and Yellowtail under them. The possibilities are endless but loving the game so far.

Can you please do a video explaining what rod is compatible with reel and lines.

Doing a challenge for silver strand meadows map challenge 1 to catch a silver lake trout. It says they like spinners, spoons, and crankbait...I sepnt day not a bite size 2 hooks...I watch your video try a size 3 jig and almost lost the fish at 100% tension and played with him for 7 min. He kept me over 200ft most the fight. Just under 17lbs. Thank You!!

Hi! In that fishing game are any social aspects? For example: competitions? Or any score leader boards? Or its just a simple single game? I just cant get that, why in 2022 we still dont have fishing game with good online playstyle. I thing Fishing Planet tryed to do it, but game itself just horrible. Casting a fishing rod looks like you launch something in space. Never seen in my entire life someone to do like that :D So The Angler is a single game or semi MMO game? Thanks!

I do like the game but when it came out I was dissapointed. I would have been more understanding had they just told us it was EA instead of full release. Lot and lots of bugs and constant crashing. And the 1 blonde hairstyle *gag*

Size of the spinnerbite?

I live in Colorado we have all the same fish mostly and the sizes are way off and so are the baits used and hook sizes to real life. But loving the game. Played all the fishing games and this is my favorite!

We fish for these big fish in Dinosaur Lake, Hudsons hope B.C. and Wiliston Lake, there part of a hydro reservoir, if you google up wiliston lake b.c. fishing you should see a bunch of photos of these big beasts there awesome to catch but when there to big we send them back and only eat the not so big one as the biggest ones are to fatty. the slightly smaller ones are amazing to eat

Usually I would put the lure down literally under the boat, and lift the lure up and down approx. 30cm of the bottom, would take around 10 takes or less and the fish would just hammer it.
