If they add a new rifle with the suppressor permanently on it and decrease the range of the rifle, it would essentially be an improved version of the air rifle give or take.
@dgeesiogaming if done properly yeah just imagine the air rifle but with a class of 3-7 or 4-8. It could be another fun rifle just like the 44 mag lever action.

Congrats mate! I was losing my mind when I found mine, couldn't believe how black mine was, so blown away 🖤 I've luckily found all tiger fur types except Gold. 11 rares and Super rares, 4 pseudo mela, 2 white stripeless, 1 white, 2 pseudo mela white (each version), 1 Albino, 1 Melanistic. It's been amazing 🤯 Have a blast looking for your next one 🤘🤞💥
I've killed around 300 tigers on PC (400 on PS4) or more, and have not had a single rare. I can easily get 2 diamonds every 20 to 30 kills, but not a single rare.
Hello Ron, I managed to get the snow leopard by doing the mission 'At the Edge of the World', my goodness this mission is fantastic from the moment the blizzard starts to the abandoned hut in the region of Himgiri where I must light a fire. Seeing the strong wind rising and the tops of the trees being stirred by the wind give a beautiful cinematic view. I would like to see often when we are in the Himal region to see this kind of weather, the big wind with the blizzard to feel the immersion that we are really in North Himal. My snow leopard's fur is snow. By the way, this wild Yaks is really a pain in the butt 😠 they ram at me sometime for no reason, lol. 😆
the thing that would make silencers not Overpowering is that if it’s realistic you would not only need to have the silencer but you’d have to use subsonic ammo for it to actually be quiet with the silencer and the subsonic ammo would have less penetration than polymer tips would
Hi Ron my tigers bounce out so hard they bounce off my map! Not sure what the devs were thinking. But with a map this big and only 8 male tiger it’s a time thief! I guess the devs have plenty of time on there hands. I didn’t think hunting pressure effected tigers
Congrats Ron! Yeah I do the Yak thing too, and today I spooked a Snowleaopard when I came into a Yak zone and tracked him for 2.5 miles b4 I got a good shot, level 6 carmel. I only hunt the male tigers but thats more than enough for me so ive gotten a psedo Melenistic and a Gold so far. Thanks Mate!
I love this game but want more content please. How about having the odd scary hunt?? A rogue animal that needs culled because it is actually a man eater or goes cannabalistic on other animals and/ or their own species? The graphics are beautiful but just for the adventure, how about creating a Sasquatch to appear simply to make us thankful we are sitting on a couch with controller in hand rather than in the woods alone at dusk or night time? Tents that can be bought instore and spawned to so we can hunt at certain places without a long trek in spooking animals. More small game, more big game in Africa. ( the big five) Setting trapping lines to generate money in furs. I have already mentioned Sasquatch but how about crypto zoology creatures relevant to the geography of the DLC released? E.g, Loughness monster in a Highlands of Scotland DLC. Russian DLC in Siberia, India DLC, Amazon basin DLC Congo Jungle DLC Alaska DLC including polar bears. Developers skies the limit and stop trying to be tree hugging Gretta Thunbergs environmental nuts. Thanks for any considerations. P.s. I play HCOTW and hunt in RL.😊
id love more content to be added we have a new map coming out in a few weeks in August. hopefully we get a new Roadmap then of what content is coming out after.
Scopes with lens magnification effect and new weapon and hand textures would make this game so much more immersive. The maps are beautiful but the actual textures on the hands and weapons look pretty rough. Scopes as well look bad with no magnification effects. I do love this game and I feel like this could help lift the immersion even more!
Awesome thank you for this. I usually have 4 tigers spawning on my map in the big bottom river. Yes that would be very useful to draw on the map. Very nice hunting for me on Sundarpatan. White stripe tiger. A albino water buffalo and an melanistic muntjack.That melanistic tiger ❤️❤️❤️
I don’t know if this was intended by the devs but super rare tigers are the easiest super rares to get. I’ve seen so many super rare tigers in every variation on the discord. It’s crazy as I thought from reading the dev diary that the tiger was going to be one of the hardest trophies in general to get. But they’ve become easier than what I thought. Good job on the rare :)
Massive update. New quads that can go up hills . Just pulse the accelerator as in full button down it's unstable. I think they have new songs as well. Love them .Great sounds
For suppressors new subsocinc ammo with same stats but with bigger bullet drop, smaller sound radius and maybe smaller hunting pressure. For muzzle breakes - guns more wobbling in standing position low recoil lying position. This would not be too difficult to implement in the game.
Looks like Ultimate Hunting lit a bit of a fire under them lol. I'm actually surprised that no youtuber has touched on the fact that they released a new game trailer just about at the same time that the latest Ultimate Hunting trailer released. Too bad it's too late as far as I'm concerned because if Ultimate Hunting delivers on the things they have said then the choice is easy from a realism standpoint, which is ultimately the only standpoint that matters for hunting games. I mean do I want to ACTUALLY hunt or do I want a shooting gallery, there is only one right answer for serious people.
I would love suppressors. They are more common place in hunting. Actually getting my 1st one after shooting my buddies. Definitely help not spook critters as much. Definitely could add weight additional to gun to balance it in game. I think it would be great to get accessories other than scopes to add to our rifles.
Personally, I'd rather see a range of new scopes come into the game, maybe one with a built in rangefinder like they have in WOTH. Suppressors are used to mitigate hearing loss IRL, that's not a problem in COTW. To me, there's no need to introduce them. If they do though, I'd balance them by making them weigh 2-3 units each, and make them do double hunting pressure (to make them harder to use for grinding as they would delete zones very quickly).
I always carry a bow and rifles. I use a bow like a silencer and the defense from big bulls. If they add 300 blackout like irl, it will be good, because to hunt of small predators with the air rifle it's hard (inaccurate). If they add suppressors for all the rifles, I'll throw out the bows and will wear only Sundberg 454 for defense. Suppressors or bows. To be, or not to be, that is the question.
I think after your first shot, the rest of the animals should go alert. And after your second shot, they flee. It would be too OP if none of the animals reacted.
Awesome find Ron, way cool. I hope to get one some day. I would like to ask you about the bear grind. I'm grinding bears now, I have gotten 6 lakes stocked with males, most of my outer lakes have 3-4s. I started shooting the herd, I have 6 diamonds stacked, but lvl 2 and lvl 3s are showing up at my shooting lakes, several now. Since they are at my shooting lakes, should I shoot the smaller ones too or leave them? Thanks for the advice.
it really depends how you want to do it. you could shoot the ones you dont want. also maybe cull some diamonds. best way is to experiment with grinds see what works for you.
yeah looks like it, we could really use a Greenland or Norway map, with Polar Bears, Musk Ox, Artic Wolves, Snowshoe Hares, Snow geese, Walrus, and Wolverine. They could add Caribou, Capercallie and Moose.
I feel like suppressors are going to ruin some peoples replayability for the game. But in all seriousness we have more guns than we do Multi-Mounts, why can't we get more of those? Or a better UI for scrolling through trophies.
a supressor slows down the bullit a bit. So you got more bulliet dropp and less energy in to the target. If you want it more Quiet. pick a subsonic version of some rounds get hearing safe. but not hollywood quiet. I would want it for classic.
@@dgeesiogaming I wouldn’t mind their addition, probably wouldn’t use them. EW has bigger fish to fry imo, with Tikkamoon being out for awhile now and Ultimate Hunting being right around the corner
Ron I have a theory for you. EW is throwing everything out there, because behind the scenes. They have a new game in development. Reasons behind this thought. First, never released a new map and then have a 50 percent off sale a week later. Second abandon everything from the core of how the game started. Third 7 years for a game is a antique. Just think what they could do by dropping the old generation consoles?? Just my thoughts.
Have the hunting pressure be between a bow and regular hunting pressure when using suppressor but have them not be great at long distance shooting perhaps. Maybe be used for closer range shooting but either way they need to be balanced bec it could be too OP especially when grinding
Most modern suppressors add velocity, which typically increases effective range. In my opinion if they wanted to "balance" it without doing the unrealistic reduction of power, range, accuracy like many pvp games "need" to do they could just make suppressors weigh a pound or so each because it's not a pvp game.
