Well done Matt, that’s the way to do a review, adding in the split screen so we can see how it looks at address is a great touch. Keep up the great videos. 💪🏻🤘
Like the videos.. your light hearted fun way of golf is nice to watch. I myself have loved the game of golf off and on for years. This last year I turned 43 and with my kids older now have refocused the love of the game. But also in that time frame I have suffered a major health blow. I got in a car accident and now have some major back issues. But that hasn't changed the golf love. I have just had to rethink things.. had to go thru whole bag. Changes to shaft flex and clubs that help with a slower swing speed.. I have picked up 4 mavrik max fairways in the last few months.. a 11 wood, heavenwood, 3 wood and then a plus 3 for when drive is being bad for my game. Love them for sure.. keep up the good work and we will keep watching..
Could you please do a compare on mavrick standard, Mav max and ping g400max drivers? They all seem to have an element of forgiveness but maybe the mavrick has a bigger punch!
Great review, I don’t like throwing ing the clubs on the ground. Kind of says, I didn’t pay for doesn’t show any respect for probably getting them for free. Keep up the good work, lose the toss
Great vlog Sir!! Have to say it....love the club "toss" when you're done with it/them! That 5 wood is impressive, don't really like the look of any of them, but if they work don't stare at it too long... Thx for sharing your opinions Matt, it really does help!!!
Dude...Of course the 6 iron is going 199. It’s 24 degrees! That is more like a modern 5 iron. Back in the day the Ping Eye 2+ 4 iron was 24.5 degrees. Club manufacturers have consistently decreased lofts to claim their irons go farther. No wonder we need hybrids with a 21 degree 5 iron that is in reality a 3 iron only scratch golfers can hit!
Hitting that 3+ 265....who needs a driver. I would carry that 3+ and the 5 wood, and go with the 6 iron to PW....then get the new wedges. Too bad I don't have about $2500 to spend on new clubs!!! ( Okay...yes... it's my wife who wouldn't understand spending that money! Plus...I don't like sleeping on the couch! )
This is the 3rd review I've watched stating that the Mavrik Max 3 wood is the easiest 3 wood ever made to get into the air. I'm going to guess your swing caddie was off on those 5 wood numbers but I dropped my long hybrid last year and replaced it with a Callaway Subzero 18 degree 5 wood with an X shaft and and the ease of hitting it high and long compared to an equivalent hybrid makes the choice a no brainer
I use a 5w instead of a 3w. Seems to be the better fit with clubs (especially driver) increasing in distance due to technology. 3w is just too close to driver for me in terms of distance. Let us know how the change works out over time. 👍🏽
@@MrShortGame I'm playing MizuMizuno JPX 850 forged. Love em but been thinking about trying the Hogans. They have a demo program that seems interesting. Plus, those guys are in my home town of FW.
@@rajoconnor I did the demo it was great 2 separate weekends to hit them, ultimately I couldn't hit them because of my ability but I loved everything else about them.
